He's not a 5 star and it doesn't matter until the final rankings anyway. He may or may not be by then.

His AAU coach said Iowa was getting a five star basketball player "in his opinion". He may be a bit biased in that review.

I didn't listen to the podcast, but Hines was on Miller/Brinson today and mentioned that he heard/thought that maybe Monk had reached out to our staff, and there maybe some mutual interest. That's pretty cool to hear, and it makes the timing of the offer more logical.

Dang man, it's 5.5 to Jordan Creek from my house which I would guess is the same for his family in Bentonville. Ames on a good day is 7 hours (gotta fill the tank and get grunties for the road at some point).

Someone mentioned earlier (I couldn't find link proof) that Monk wants to play in the Big 12. If he is reaching out to our staff that has to be a great sign. And I would sure hope ISU is interested in getting the #6 player in the 2016 class.

Unless you are Kansas (or any of the blue bloods). The KU fanbase (including you) would be asking for Self's head on a platter if they only were successful on 1 out of 10 top recruits they were actively pursuing.

Good lord. I live right by Jordan Creek and it takes me 45 minutes to get to the Jack and Hilton. 45 minutes right on the nose almost every time. Damn that guy drives slow.
