For the second year in a row, the tour comes no where near South Central or South East Iowa. Its like the athletic department does not care about the fan base in this part of the state, even though I see more ISU gear down here than ever before.
Before they always hit Ottumwa or Indianola or at least some place close, not now. All the stops are above I 80.

We do have fans down here, and more importantly season ticket holders. It would be nice not to have to drive 100 miles to see the tour.

The tour list is already out? I guess I'll have to open up the A.D.'s website.

You'd think the tail gate tour was for SUPPORTING ISU athletics? ;)

Why would anyone go to a fan rally to be a ****? :(

There was someone last year basically telling Pollard he should have hired Fred back during the Q&A... as much as I dislike what is going on with basketball, I was ashamed of our fan base that day. It was really awkward. Also, there was nearly no line to talk to Prohm. I actually talked to him and asked him about Bolton... he couldn’t comment, but he did give a little smile about it.

Not only did that person go a route that's not appropriate in a public setting, but they also live in a world where Fred wants to coach at Iowa State.

In other words that Jereisb/ISU125 or whatever the second handle was showed up to one of these.

At the Waterloo event almost no one was talking to CSP last year but CMC had a huge line. CSP needs to be let go, sooner the better. For those that don’t see that you will in 1 to 2 more years. Most see it already. It’s not about being a good or bad fan, it’s about early recognition of the problems and swift decisive action to minimize the damage and correct the trajectory of the program.

I like CSP, and he has been well received at the events I attended. Love the picture I have with him and the Big XII championship trophies from past tours. The most annoying thing to me is every year multiple people ask JP about bringing back baseball.

In times like these - where people are agonizing over a team missing 1-2 crucial pieces that were been counted on to be here - it's sometimes best to go by the adage - "Don't just do something, STAND THERE".

If we see basketball like this next year I'll be on the "new coach" train but CSP had s great class coming in and there is hope - for me anyway.

What’s the over/under of the times Steve says something about “toughness” or “fundamentals”

Oddly enough CMC uses these types of terms all the time, and a detriment to the football team the past 1 1/2 seasons has been a slide and lack of fundamentals that have proven to be the difference in losses and marginal wins. I wonder if people will start to really acknowledge this if the football team gets 6-7ish wins in the same fashion or just yell 'But Big 12 offenses!'.

The basketball team seems to lack basics but this should go both ways for fans.

Don't worry guys, everyone on here will be invited to my tailgate with @Cat Stevens next football season, but it will be way different than any that most of you are used to.

#1) The people at it won't be complete bags.

#2) There will be actual girls.

#3) People will be having fun.

God, we have some of the turdiest fans anywhere.
