That's right. Still don't see a reason for him to be the leader in the club house. Granted we've had more success than Wash but to move laterally to another asst pos and then back again. Don't see the dots connectingn.
Is malik dime enrolled at Washington? Or would he be able to play right away at Iowa St.? If he would want to.
Does your source realize that the Whitewater job is not open?My source is saying that TJ is still the guy, if he doesn't get the Wisconsin Whitewater job.
I'm going to be honest, I would have mixed feelings about bringing TJ back. Never met him, but have heard from most accounts that he is a good guy. He also helped build the program when Fred first got here.
On the other side, he left us for what was, at best, a lateral move at Washington. Feel like I haven't heard news of him bringing in any top-caliber talent there (no, Dime doesn't count). Just feel like we could make a bigger "splash" hire. Also, what GeorgesFan posted about not wanting him back concerns me/piques my interest.

He signed a NLI with Washington, so I think he sits a year if he transfers again.

I guess I missed it, what was said?
This is the exact quote from GeorgesFan: "You don't want him...trust me" --- Like you, SighClone, this does concern me about possibly rehiring TJ.Someone mentioned the possibility of TJ coming back, GeorgesFan quoted their post and said something to the effect of, "Trust me, you don't want him back."
That was all that was said. But obviously not going to take it lightly, given the source.
There has to be someone in Souix City that we can hire. It's about time we break through the Souixland and take away Fran's grip on that hot recruiting ground.
Couldn't Washington release him from the NLI? Like the Doug McDermott situation with UNI and Creighton. If Washington would do this.
