I'll ditto a lot of what has been said already. Happy to see him have a great game. I would rather have him come off the bench and provide a spark. He'll start next year.

The only reason I could see him starting over Naz as a bonus would be if it allows Naz to stay fresh and get healthy. Naz hasn't been his usual Threesus self. I love him, but it's painful to watch when his shooting is off. He has compensated by improving his finish around the rim. But if MT can shoot like he has consistently he might be needed on the court more.

It's not only about hitting threes. Naz long has been reckless with the ball in his hands the last 2 games.

I think he's pressing, especially noticeable when his shots aren't falling.

I love Naz. Always will. I just don't think he's 100%.

He's openly admitted he's probably only about 75% still.

I hadn't heard that, but it makes sense. I kinda want him to come off the bench until he's feeling better. Pushing it running the floor that much and on defense is not going to help him.

I agree. I think it's harder on injury recovery when you are fatigued, so it would nice to hold him to 20 minutes a game or a little less (if that is the case). Could be that he's just pressing too hard, as was said earlier. Some seniors have that issue too.

It's kind of odd that a leg surgery reduced Long's 3 point capability much improved his ability to drive to the basket

Not being critical, but when Naz is missing he is fading left or right. When he takes his time & sets his feet it's usually money. I do love his ability to drive though, very quick off the dribble.

Agree. He has been driving more but if the lay-up is not there he panics, jumps in the air, and just throws the ball to an area. Lots of stupid turnovers and finger pointing in the first half last night.

Only guy that could score in the first half and completely shut down the goat in the second.
MVP

For a second I thought you were referring to Utoff as the Greatest. Of. All. Time. Then I realized he looks like a goat. Well played sir.

Naz hasn't been the same, but the fact is he's still always a viable threat, and him being on the floor can still spread out the defense. No opponent can say that he can't shoot very well, so they have to still show respect when he gets it.

It take a big man to admit when he was wrong, and I am that man. I was dead wrong about you. You are proving to be a valuable member of this team. Good luck to you in the rest of your career.
