It's the Breakfast Crunchwrap. Elite.

The 'hash browns' at Taco Bell are somehow greasier than McDonalds which is basically a feat of engineering.

At BK, I can get two croissanwiches for $5. I get one with sausage and one with ham. With a glass of OJ, that's my favorite. Well, to be accurate, with tax it's $5.48 and since we now have to tip anyone we have any contact with, it costs me $6.

While most of the discussion has been options in the upper mid-west, but if I’m traveling in the south, give me some bojangles biscuits. Especially the cheddar bo biscuit, just looking at it induces clogged arteries, but damn is it good.

Breakfast burritos are my go to…

Unless you are in Austin, TX, where they only serve “breakfast tacos”. (Smug longhorn sob’s)

Also, none of that San Diego BS of putting French fries in the breakfast burrito. Gimme hash browns in the burrito, not any of that French fry insanity.

French fries? In a breakfast burrito? What is wrong with them?

The Wendy's breakfast sandwiches are super underrated, but this is offset by the abomination that is their potato option in the value meal. McDonald's has the better coffee, so they win the contest. But IMO, Wendy's does a better job with the sandwiches.
Are you saying you don't like their potato wedge things?! Those are elite.

I'm surprised so many posters are mentioning McDonald's. Pretty average breakfast.

To be fair I don’t think that there are too many breakfast fast food options.

McDonald’s
Wendys
BK
Dunkin
Casey’s
Taco Bell

Back when I couldn’t gain weight I’d get an extra hash brown, take one bite and put the rest on the sausage egg and cheese McMuff. So damn good

Some of the Hyvee gas stations have really solid breakfast.
I stop at the Merle Hay/80 one frequently.

I realize this is trash, but I'm absolutely content with either a plain Hardees biscuit or a McDonald's sausage biscuit. It's such a gut bomb that I won't be able to eat any lunch, but it is simple and delicious. (I'm not a big breakfast eater.)

I don't like the Chick-Fil-A breading, and I don't enjoy their biscuits. I don't know why. I've tried the sausage, and it's gritty. I'll just stick with what works.

Abomination.

To be clear, I've never actually had one. It's a matter of principle though.
McGriddles are f*cking fantastic.

Not sure what silly principle could be in play to categorize them as an abomination. Pancakes, sausage, and syrup are a universally (factually) amazing breakfast plate. The McGriddle is an unbelievably fantastic take/spin-off on this classic.

With that said, I still typically go with the biscuit or McMuffin before the McGriddle, because those items are also fantastic. Typically sausage but bacon great too.

And no, there is no better breakfast potato than a Donny’s hash brown. Absolute perfection.

Wendy’s in general also a great/underrated breakfast menu…

Nothing trash about this take at all! Donny’s is simply the superior breakfast place.
