I have a friend who went.

Fewer sauce options than huhot, but it also has a regular and salad bar buffet to go along.

She gave it a pretty good review. I'd give it a shot.

It's like a combination of HuHot, King Buffet, and Golden Corral. And it's just as good as that sounds. I've been longing for a HuHot in Ames for years, but this is even better. I highly recommend it.

It's definitely not as good as HuHot or Genghis Grill but not terrible. I grabbed an egg roll from the premade buffet and it ended up being some weird buffalo chicken wrap, needless to say I wasn't too happy about that. It's decent enough though, and I'd go back again in a pinch.

I second the thought about being in the bathroom quickly after eating there. It was almost as bad as Valentino's in that department.

$9 for lunch and around $12 for dinner and weekends...but you get your money's worth!

Actually I think the prices are $8 and $11. At least they were when I went a couple weeks ago. Includes everything--all you can eat--AND a drink. Well worth the price.

Are you kidding me? I spend five years in Ames DYING for a Mongolian buffet, and one opens within two weeks after I leave town?! WTF? Okay, where is this place?
