Friends are going. I’m trying to remember the name of the really old off campus bar that the WVU fans traditionally hit on Friday night. Think it was just NE of campus in a residential area. Stand alone building. Bar along East wall w/ kitchen behind. Long rows of tables slid together. Packed & very welcoming. People got up to give my wife & I seats. Demanded that we come to their tailgate next day, which we did. And it’s a big deal at stadium tailgates to have the best “shine” that is not store bought. If anyone knows the bar name, I’d like to pass on to friends.
98, 99, and 100I’ll be heading there from the Philly area with my son who is a senior at Pitt. Like 2 years ago, I told him to leave his Pitt gear at home to not get abused! Pretty funny when a spontaneous “Eat S*#t Pitt” chant breaks out at the tailgate for the Iowa State game. Does anyone know what section most of the ISU tickets are in?
Hate to admit I'd like to ride on your coat tails, but where do you plan on tailgating? I'd like to put a face to the name.Flying out Friday morning! Can't wait. This will be my second trip out
That I'm not sure. 4 of us going and we're just kind of winging it down thereHate to admit I'd like to ride on your coat tails, but where do you plan on tailgating? I'd like to put a face to the name.
Somewhere in another thread the Indiana alumni club mentioned starting around 10:00 at 1137 Van Voorhis Rd and working their way to their preferred tailgating section. Just a thought. That I'm not sure. 4 of us going and we're just kind of winging it down there
That thread I was referring to popped up again. It's this one. Maybe you'll find it helpful. That I'm not sure. 4 of us going and we're just kind of winging it down there
All of us going to WVU need to stay safe when around their fans. West Virginia ranks last in the nation with only 41% of residents fully vaccinated as of yesterday. (Source: Beckers Hospital Review)
