Cheer hard! Does this game concern anyone else? They did a number on TCU last night.
Yes, I get every game from here on out is concerning, especially as we have to win in the margins as they say, but we certainly can't afford a let down.

Heading down from NY! First game for me since the south endzone opened and the first game ever for my oldest two boys!

Friends are going. I’m trying to remember the name of the really old off campus bar that the WVU fans traditionally hit on Friday night. Think it was just NE of campus in a residential area. Stand alone building. Bar along East wall w/ kitchen behind. Long rows of tables slid together. Packed & very welcoming. People got up to give my wife & I seats. Demanded that we come to their tailgate next day, which we did. And it’s a big deal at stadium tailgates to have the best “shine” that is not store bought. If anyone knows the bar name, I’d like to pass on to friends.

Believe you are thinking of Marios Fishbowl. There are two locations in Morgantown. Richwood Ave by the downtown campus is the original.

Hope you all enjoy the trip and the weather holds. We made the trip out to Ames a few years ago. Had a great time as well. Some ISU fans left us a friendly note and some beer on our truck when we got back after the game.

Happy to give y'all any recommendations if you need them!

I’ll be heading there from the Philly area with my son who is a senior at Pitt. Like 2 years ago, I told him to leave his Pitt gear at home to not get abused! Pretty funny when a spontaneous “Eat S*#t Pitt” chant breaks out at the tailgate for the Iowa State game. Does anyone know what section most of the ISU tickets are in?

Really bummed I can't make it out. I did my masters at WVU and haven't been to Morgantown since May for my graduation. Timing was just bad for this trip and only found out I could make it a week ago.

That I'm not sure. 4 of us going and we're just kind of winging it down there
Somewhere in another thread the Indiana alumni club mentioned starting around 10:00 at 1137 Van Voorhis Rd and working their way to their preferred tailgating section. Just a thought.

Mountain Mama's is great by the way. It's not huge inside but good food and drinks. It's right across the road basically from the Green Lot, which is another fairly big tailgating lot. It's a 15 minute walk through the Green and into the Blue lot from Mountain Mamas.

Other food suggestions (in no order)
Keglers
Mountain State Brewing Co
Oliverios
Varsity Club
Black Bear Burritos
Primanti Bros
Tudors Biscuit World

I live out of state but Im making the drive to WV on Thursday. The fall color should be beautiful this time of year. Here's to an injury free, hard fought game, 'Clones!

That thread I was referring to popped up again. It's this one. Maybe you'll find it helpful.

Should plan to get to a game there some day. Our family is from Bland, Virginia...just across the WV border. Would be fun to make the pilgrimage and catch the Clones in M-Town.
