I find the whole Mulkey thing weird. She almost seems a little too excited to no longer be at Baylor.

From the sexual assaults at Baylor, to the sexual discrimination, assaults, harassments in the LSU athletic department; seems like it was a lateral move for her.

Yes almost 9 months younger. Was he supposed to google her to find out if he could call her ma'am out of respect like his mama taught him?

Also, if you are old enough to be a member of AARP pretty much anyone should be able to call you ma'am.

Saw one report where she is supposedly mad that she doesn't think Baylor was going to follow through with plans for a new arena/practice facility. Who knows...

Baylor did put their proposed new arena on hold last year.

Baylor President Linda Livingstone announced plans to reduce Baylor’s projected $750 million budget by about $75 million to compensate for pandemic-related costs and lost revenue. As part of those measures, Baylor deferred construction of the new pavilion. WacoTrib

Well, given her opinion on sexual assaults on campus, LSU may be the perfect fit for her. She implied it was no big deal at Baylor.
I just thought that, maybe they wanted her to be the spokesperson as to victim blaming.

Ft. Worth sportswriter says it was about fatigue with the administration post Art Briles and issues with the new basketball arena.

Although Mulkey’s teams won three national titles, including as recently as 2019, when the two revenue sports are relevant and winning, it knocks a women’s basketball program down the pecking order in an athletic department. Mulkey would not have as much pull as she once did.

Yep, even though I'm sure they liked the winning I'm also sure there are quite a few in the Baylor Athletic Dept. that aren't that sad to see her go. Have no doubt she was probably a pain in the arse to deal with.

What is the point of a “personal travel allowance?” University saves a few $ (and she saves on income taxes) if there’s only $75k in travel expenses?
