um, yes. they are the leaders and were constantly whining or mouthing off. that gets reflected on the overall team. had your seniors played with composure, they'd have lifted the others' play. that's my view from row4.

I've voiced similar sentiments on this board before. Chris Williams, this board's moderator, also commented on a podcast re: players whining about EVERY call.

there were many reasons why we lost, including poor free throw and 3-pt shooting, but you can't always control how well you shoot on any given day. But, you CAN control whether you are going to react to something. We had closed to within one point and had momentum when the T was given.

yep. same thing happened to ttech playing k-state last week. a technical foul turned the game. but it's more than that single call in this case. it was the overall demeanor of the two leaders. and perhaps it was just this game. i don't follow iowa state all that much to know. i just found it obviously disconcerting last night, and it clearly contributed to the crowd's passion.

The demeanor of those two was of guys passionate about the game and playing very well. I wouldn't want them to turn down the intensity if it meant they played passively.

Deandre might whine more than any other bball player I've seen this year. Dudes an incredible talent though.

Good response, c-spiker33. I could care less what a K-State fan thinks of Iowa State players.

He gets bumped and hacked more than any guard I have seen driving to the basket and doesn't get any calls.

Crying about it while the team tries to stop the break with 4 players is helpful to this cause.

I think both Kane and Ejim are 1 and 2 in the nation in that category this year.

I could care less how much they whine. They are the reason why ISU has 22 wins and are in a four-way tie for second place in the Big 12. They are the reason why they won down at OSU when Kansas couldn't win down there.

I agree there are quite a few games he doesn't get enough calls. He gets totally annihilated at times and goes to the ground not getting a call. Then opposing fans love to say he is a flopper.

Get back to me when you get out there and play 35-plus minutes in a physical contest then I will answer you. Pretty easy to complain about someone from an easy chair.

I hate having two first team All Big 12 players. Give me five Bryan Peterson type players.

I love them both as players and wouldn't trade them for anything, but it's silly to think there isn't elements of the game they could improve on. It's also silly to complain about the officiating framework because that's the way it is, if he hasn't been getting fouls and complaining about it the last 100 times hasn't changed just run back on d.

I wonder if Kane and Ejim's emotions have anything to do with the fact they have 2 games left in their regular season careers.

Nice to see so many clone fans talking **** about two guys having 2 of the best seasons in Cyclone history. Get over yourselves.

Hahaha. You, from an easy chair sitting in front of a computer, complaining about an athlete who goes hard for a 40 minute ball game. THAT'S the definition of weak.
Ad Homs mean you're winning bro.

Hahahaha. I CAN and have every right to criticize and complain about you (ad homs, bro) because we are in the same boat. YOU don't have the right complain and criticize a person who you can't even come close to doing the same thing on a basketball court.

I do have an idea, however, why don't you call up Melvin and DeAndre and schedule a meeting with them so you can tell them exactly how to "improve" their game.

Not really. You are saying that Melvin and DeAndre are complaining too much when they should be getting back and playing defense.

Prove how that has hurt Iowa State. They have won 22 games and lost six.
