come on. my comments are little different than those posted by isu fans on this board. and frank martin was run out of manhattan for his attitude. everyone knows that.

The difference would be...they are OUR players. You would be equally unreceptive if one of us went to the KSU boards and began preaching about how the attitude of two players who basically carried the team cost them the game.

FWIW...I'm not a big fan of Cyclone fans bagging on the players. I'm sure you can understand why I'm even less of a fan of non-Cyclone fans doing it.

Most of the time you're fairly reasonable, and I enjoy some of your contributions. This time, however, you threw something out there that most of us disagree with, and you're getting more & more "out there" in your attempts to defend it. You just don't needle a fan base & then say "Aw shucks, how come you guys are all mad at me?" Own up to the trolling.

it's time to move on. i greatly admire iowa state. almost went to school there. was a huge fan of the dirty thirty. have family there. so, i don't want to get too far along here with fans of a school that i almost attended and most often find reason to root for.

Yeah, this kind of stuff (player behavior) happens all over....and the people in row four were trolling Kane.

I didn't go to the KSU boards a few years back when I had tickets immediately behind the KSU bench in hilton and Frank went APE on an assistant...I wish I would have had it on video. The stuff he spewed made me lose A TON of respect for him. BUT, I also know that is part of the game. And I will say this, in my time living in Manhattan, I had several positive 1:1 interactions with Frank....don't even get me started on what that one Uconn transfer was doing and saying to the fans near us. Same with Jacob Pullen.

Anyway....go team.

Thank you for bringing up this clown. Also add Bill Walker to the "classless gesture" at the crowd list. In fairness to him he had the decency to **** himself on the sidelines at home...

Ummmm...I can think of a couple of things he might be doing there. The most innocuous would be adjusting his cup/jockstrap. I don't even want to consider the other possibilities.

I'm assuming you really don't know. He was taking a leak on the sidelines during a stoppage of play. I pity the manager that had to take those towels off the court.

He actually was ******* in a towel. Didn't think it'd get caught on camera...the explanation was that he was on a muscle relaxer and had to go.

I will say from first hand experience, both Walker and Beasley were classless. KSU is lucky they didn't get some sanctions with both how they got to KSU and what happened when they were there.

I guess it all boils down to if your school employed Bob Huggins you lose the right to lecture any other fanbase on the antics of their players.

Pullen and Curtis Kelly...both jerks. That was the game where we had them beat at Hilton, and Pullen drove and the ball was stripped (by Garrett I think) and it literally bounced right back up to Pullen for a lay up.

Pullen and Kelly were caught getting a "discount" at Dillards in Manhattan that season.

Huggy and Frank Martin brought back a pulse to the program (remember Woolridge getting fired at the Big 12 tourney), but also brought some classlessness. KSU honestly dodged a HUGE bullet during that era. Their current AD is a pretty classy guy and has cleaned a lot up, but the last few years of their President Wefald and AD, crooked as a politician....contracts on napkins (search Ron Prince settlement).

No...I really didn't know. Are you kidding me? He couldn't at least sit down & have a couple of guys stand in front of him? Blerg...
