Nader was amazing in the KU game.

Lol where all the red-light Nader peeps at?

I still don't think he should take certain 3s. I'm pretty sure those 3s he hit were corner kickout 3s which are a good in rhythm and higher percentage shot. Regardless he's playing very well and has been awesome to watch. We have so much we are going to have to replace next year

Nader has looked really good lately. I especially like his aggressiveness and ability to play through contact. It also helps that he's one of our best free-throw shooters. I was really impressed with the game in which he had something like 16 rebounds.

I still believe he should shoot threes sparingly (though I've revised my view from "never shoot threes under any circumstance" like I believed a few weeks ago). He's hitting 31 percent on the season, which is the best he's ever done. He's never shot above 30 percent from beyond the arc in any season.

Didn't he hit a far out three to win a game? Like Cincinnati or Iowa, when it went off his hands I never thought it would go in, and it did. He probably missed one and they lost a game. One thing about Nader, the pressure doesn't bother him.

I like the way the team is going. The team is getting better, not because of better shooting, but better defense.

I'm not sure what his stats from that long ago have to do with the way he's currently shooting the ball. Melvin Ejim shot .232 and .220 in his first two seasons from behind the arc before shooting .348 and .346 in his last two.

When he has his shoulders square to the hoop, catches and shoots without a dribble, he's a solid 3 pt shooter and ANY 3 he takes is a good shot. When he dribbles or hesitates before he shoots, he's not great. The biggest change the last few games has been that he's basically only taking the good shots. He's been our most efficient offensive player during this winning streak.

Love his attitude. Tough, and just goes about his business. Go Dooley!

]I really think having BDJ around last year hurt Nader the most.[/B] It seemed like Nader didn't want to look "out of place" to Bryce so he kind of stayed in his shell and didn't talk or show much emotion. Obviously the improvement this year can be credited to him having a great offseason and improving his body, but also he's not afraid to be more talkative and emotional which leads to him being more loose and relaxed. Maybe I'm off my rocker but just an observation I had.

When Nader is good he is good. But half the games he is terrible in all aspects of the game. No excuse why Burton was not in for him those last 5 minutes.

Time to back away from the keyboard. Nader had very little to do with this loss. The team did not play well and the traveling calls killed the flow of the game. We never went on a big run. The last 5 minutes Niang and McKay were in foul trouble. Nader had to be out there. Plus, did you watch Burton at the end of the game? Bulling your way through might work in the summer league but it will blow up in your face in real games. Burton would not have helped this afternoon.

Actually Burton kept us in this game. You must not have watched. Nader was terrible. He lets his guy blow by him on defense the whole game. Way too many turnovers. And takes bad shots.

I guess we will just have to disagree then. Burton and defense should not be mentioned in the same breath and Nader had maybe one bad offensive play but I dont think he was the problem. Monte didnt score like he has been and Georges/McKay injuries were more of a problem than anything. We don't need a scapegoat for every game we lose.

I don't think Nader was the only problem. We had many from Georges to McKay at times to Monte. My point was Burton kept us in the game and should have been in the game the last 5 minutes. Even the announcer said the exact same thing. Nader was having a bad game and Burton was not. But loss not even close to all Naders fault.

You are so sensitive to criticism of Nader that your defense of him includes tearing down Burton? Maybe it is time for you to step away from the keyboard?

Nader had very little to do with the loss? When you only play 6 guys, none of them have "very little" to do with a team loss.

Miles Simon agreed. Said Nader was making a lot of bad decisions and Burton should be in cause he was definitely playing better today.

That's really an interesting piece. Sounds like he's working his ass off and I hope it pays off for him.
