Wherever I go, there I am.
The confusion between a nail and a screw in this thread made me think of how I am constantly correcting Mrs. Velo when she calls a bolt a screw. I mean we have gone over this many times and she is a smart woman.

I mean it is almost like she doesn't care...
Are you saying she bolts rather than screwing? (Respectful question of course)

My theory is DH is constructing a new wife in his spare time and has the unfortunate mishap of running over unaccounted nails/screws. Or possibly building Christmas toys for the kids. It’s definitely one of those two things.

Will the new wife put bug spray on the oldest? I'm willing to consider this proposition.

I would like some feedback on a situation, mostly how to determine that this issue is a flaw with my spouse. He keeps driving over nails and I believe it must somehow be his fault.

April: Gets a nail in front right tire, has to be replaced
Last week: Gets a nail in left rear tire, has to be replaced. Replaced Monday.
TODAY: GETS A NAIL IN LEFT REAR TIRE, HAS TO BE REPLACED

Same car, same driver, different roads in use. The middle one happened an hour from home. Please give your feedback via poll or comments.

I will take questions.

I admittedly have not read through the rest of the thread, but is there a lot of roofing/siding in your area right now? Janny and I collectively had like four flat tires in a short amount of time due to it.

I got new tires recently from Discount Tire. They offered a $45 per tire protection if a tire needed to be replaced over the life of the tire. Maybe at this rate your spouse might consider this? Or maybe you figure bad things happen in threes and it has to be done now, right? What are the odds that this happens 4 times in 4 months?? Or maybe he is Magneto, who's to say!

I did ask if the place does a punch card for tires, insurance doesn't seem a bad idea at this rate.

This sounds like my wife and windshields. In the 14 years we've known each other, I believe we're up to 4 or 5 entire windshield replacements.
Our problem is quarry trucks. At least the one that took out the windshield when I was driving was going the other way, not much you can do about that. I am willing to drive 50 mph as long as I am not in projectile zone, but husband has gotten hit twice cause he follows the damn things. I would rather pull over for five minutes that go through the hassle again.
