No not really, that is why the scores are higher than during the regular season. Nobody seems to care until the playoffs.

So you actually think that the NBA regular season is comparable to college basketball? :biglaugh: You probably think that the best college team could beat the worst pro team to right? Yeah, you do.

The problem with DG getting drafted by the Lakers (if he were to), is that he would have to fight 4 other guys, unless the picks are traded, for a roster spot. Most teams won't have more than two rookies, and the Lakers are a team that plays to win NOW. He would really have to stand out to earn a spot.

That's my concern. If they are stashing PGs, it will be tougher to make it.

Fredette is like a smaller and slower JJ Redick, and hardly a better shooter....and JJ has struggled in the NBA.

Exactly. People forget that JJ Redick averaged 27 points a game in college. And that is in the ACC, not in the MWC. And JJ is nothing more than a role player in the NBA. And while JJ isn't a good defender, he is miles better than Jimmer

No the best college team would'nt come close to beating any pro team. Now you are just putting words into my mouth. You can't honestly believe that the players try at all times in the NBA and go 110% on defense though.

Selby will be a steal. Had he not had off the court issues, he would have been a lottery pick. Major talent there.

No, but you just said that Big 12 defense was almost as good as NBA defense. That is beyond laughable.

JJ wasn't a miles better defender than Jimmer in college though. There were just as many people saying he could never play defense in the NBA and he's made himself into an average at worst defensive player. Also Redick did play in a tougher conference but he had two other NBA players on his team at Duke. Jimmer didn't have near the same quality of teammates, he's also a much better ball handler and passer than JJ was.
