That would just plane suck to have to deal with that in your first year.

It would also be a great title if EA Sports decided to bring the college MBB video game back...
NCAA 17 - FBI Smackdown
Being it's the FBI, maybe you get Sean Connery involved.Imagine Hoosiers meets Dirty Harry. Surefire Oscar-bait there.
Hackman v. Eastwood
I've been wondering if his mother bought a new car and house shortly after he signed.
Maybe we paid Barnes off to go to UNC so that we could rid ourselves of McDermott. If Barnes had committed here, McD probably would have had another year or two?His mom worked for the university for crying out loud!
We're definitely clean.

This isn't a race issue. In fact, the only color that matters in any of this is dollar green.
The genie has been out of the bottle for quite a while, and AAU parents (and even the kids) are wise to how the game is played. Can't blame them for trying to get something, as nothing in life is guaranteed and "everybody else is doing it". Hope ISU isn't involved with this, but nothing would surprise me at this point if something shady didn't happen in the past. I hope the FBI will concentrate on the biggest fish - were the NCAA handling this I'd expect the blue bloods to get the customary wrist slap and the ISUs of the world to get mega sanctions.
If this rolls over into football, I've got misgivings about the Chiz years, cause Chiz and his need for a bag man, err chaplain. But, we've lost so many games over the years that if we're this historically poor AND we've been cheating, well, I just may have to be done with football on general principle.
Relative to Auburn.
Auburn president Steven Leath told ESPN that he received a call Monday night and was advised that an FBI agent wanted to meet with Leath the next morning, without any indication of what the meeting was about. Leath said he wasn't worried, because he assumed it had to do with his security clearance related to certain projects and research work on campus -- not about athletics.
What did Harrison Barnes take to go to UNC?
I do know HB had his own Nike retail account in high school to purchase shoes for cost.
His argument is awful. The head coach is always going to be protected in a strategic sense. Should they not be hiring black assistants?

"No one swings a bigger [expletive] than [Coach-2] at [Adidas]" and added "all [Coach-2] has to do is pick up the phone and call somebody [and say], 'These are my guys; they're taking care of us.'"
I would be interested in what is "cost" on a $200 pair of Nike's. Like $20?
