Does anyone else find it odd that espn and yahoo sports does not have a story on this yet on there website? Even a 1 or 2 paragraph statement saying the Nebraska is leaving?

ESPN had coverage on SportsCenter. Had Andy Katz on via phone. Nothing solid yet, but they did cover it.

By the way, the more I think about it...Nebraska? Really? Yeah, I get the football tradition and the overall strong athletic department. But what else? The Omaha-Council Bluffs MSA isn't that big, is it?

At least we beat them in their last year here, don't ever let their fans forget that!

I've been listening to espn as well, but you think espn and yahoo would have a story on it on their websites. Andy Katz, if I remember said that the AD's he's talked to knew nothing about Nebraska.

With Nebraska going to the Big 10, what happens to the Vet Med arrangement between ISU and NU? Does NU with their windfall just take back their program? Would that be a good or bad thing? Were we helping them or were they helping us in in this deal?

Good thing Nebby fans are used to getting their butts handed to them in basketball, because if ND, Syracuse, and Maryland join the big 10 they are never leaving the cellar

we were helping them. the way it is set up now is the undergrads do 2 or 3 years of generals and basic vet stuff, then the more comprehensive stuff is done in ames

And yet, in the other thread, you were talking about how this is EXACTLY what Texas wanted as a way to pull the strings and move to the Pac 10. Make up your damned mind on what is happening, instead of latching on to the latest rumor.

This is like telling Nebraska to make up their damned mind. Settle down there Cowboy.

Are you guy’s nuts! Are you listening to yourselves! Why the heck are we sitting around waiting to put together a conference full of leftovers? We should be BEGGING the Big 10 to let us in! Are you kidding me? The TV revenue dollars alone would set us up like kings. Look what we can do with the paltry amounts we get now. Just think of what kind of program we could have. The proximity of the others schools makes so much more sense than flying to Texas half the time. Traveling to most Big 10 schools would cut our travel budget, and make more money! Didn’t anybody on this forum take economics 101? Y’all need to get on the “head for the Big 10â€￾ bandwagon, before we get left in the wash.:arghh:
