Ole Miss? This whole thing is rediculous. So old kids just had to go 5-3 in conference, play nobody out if conf and they are still ahead of us. Insane.
I wouldn’t let people complaining on message boards ruin your enjoyment of college football games. All these threads on polls, playoffs, and coverage just reiterate for me why I pretty much just watch ISU as far as college games anymore.
Playing CU out-of-conference worked out OK in basketball.I heard that if we don't play in the college playoff they'll put us against Colorado in the Alamo Bowl.
No, more like the threads are a reminder of the outright corruption and poor quality of the networks and polls.I wouldn’t let people complaining on message boards ruin your enjoyment of college football games.
Yeah it's a shame actually playing the game and allowing those results to mean anything.Right but my point is that as far as the league optics go, Utah and Okie St sucking killed the perception of the league. KU’s crappy start and then creating chaos didn’t help either.
Yup, it’s exactly like those cooking/baking shows my wife loves to watch and I despise. Grab some big names, no matter how good they are at actually cooking/baking a pit them against each other. This has just become “Top Football.” It’s based on nothing more than TV ratings. If you are good at football and not in the SEC or B10, they actually don’t want you in their cook-off, you might upset the narrative.Stop applying logic and reason. It’s a TV show.

Wonder if Big12 should exploring playing one of their early season cupcakes in late November....it's a 99% chance for a blowout and you'll either stay put or move up in rankings.
Wait until you hear about Mizzou losing a game and having the committee leave them exactly where they were. Now imagine that happening to any team outside the SEC/B1G.ISU moves up only 1 spot after beating a ranked team. That seems unprecedented for a team in ISU's position.
