You haven't watched enough UNI then.

Total offensive transformation over the last three years, actually led by Tuttle. Much more tempo, led The Valley in scoring this year and tempo has gone from the 350s to 170 this year. It isn't a grind it out slog anymore. Iowa State actually plays much slower than UNI does at this point.

Tuttle's the guy because he's proving himself to be a really good recruiter and has run UNIs offense for the last 3 years, including while he was technically video coordinator. He's the right guy. I don't know if Jake finds a job he wants (keep an eye on Northwestern if it opens) but Tuttle is eventually the guy here.
Jacobsen isn’t getting a big ten job. His window to move up has slammed shut.

The historic meltdown against a&m ruined his chances. Program killer.

Look, as a dual ISU/UNI fan that game absolutely sucked and was soul crushing at the time. In fact, you could offer me a million dollars to watch the last couple of minutes of regulation and the overtime and I wouldn't take it.

But to call it a program killer is really just silly hyperbole at this point. Since the meltdown from Hell UNI and Jacobson have won two regular season titles and won 25 games two seasons ago. If we/they had sunk to the depths of, say, Evansville, you would have a point. But a title winning program is hardly dead.

I would rather try to speed other teams up than try to beat them at their own games personally.
Why isn’t it our game? We were like 7th slowest on the conference. I don’t think many teams want to get in a slow, defensive grind against us, except for TT.

Then there is no point in discussing it further

Are you confusing Henderson and Crawford? I don't get this.
If Henderson thought he could get the Panther gig, he would not be leaving. It is pretty well known that Seth is preferred as the guy that is next in line for the job.

All of these guys are from the McDermott tree and know each other well.

I have watched them enough. IMO you target Henderson and have Tuttle be assistant #1.

When Henderson leaves to take the Nebraska job in 2024. Tuttle will be far more ready.

So what's the deal with this? Is this a thing? New hire or not?

Does Crawford feel stuck at UNI? When they brought Tuttle in, seemed like Crawford may have been pushed down the hierarchy. Maybe thinks there's more opportunity in Ames.

If this is real.

I know Erik's wife and she just put up their house for sale. Beautiful spread in Dike New Hartford area.

So this is a done deal.

Seth Tuttle crying emojis are not weird.
