BCS - time to accept and embrace our AI overlords...this sucks, but it is what it is.

TCU is way overrated.

You mean the team that beat Minnesota by 7 at Minnesota. And that was full strength Minnesota too, not the one Iowa got last night.

If TCU is overrated, then I don't know what that says about Iowa? Maybe WAY overrated?

I'm talking about the TCU team that barely won by 6 against the worst team in the history of college football. After getting blown out the week before. And if we're talking injuries, does Iowa get to count beating a top 20 team on their field by 30 with their #4 RB and neither of their starting OTs? And without their top WR? And without their best defensive player? And with a QB playing on one leg? Or does that not count because it's Iowa and the hoks suck.

You realize TCU lost their Heisman contending QB and freakish WR, right? I realize injuries are part of the game, but your comment of TCU being overrated was very flawed. They were a top team with those players. Now that they lost them, the rankings will reflect that. That pretty much makes their ratings spot on.

Of course, you realize that Boykin left in the 2nd quarter, right? And, you know that their #1 WR was also injured, right? Of course you do because you wouldn't cherry pick stats to jump on the Defend the UofI bandwagon, right?

And you know that TCU started the season without half their start-of-training-camp defense, right? And that only 2 of those missing at the start have returned.

And, I am sure you called up the TCU training staff to ensure that all of their starters were 100%, right? You're apparent high level of integrity would assuredly give credit to other teams who have similar issues as your beloved UofI team. You wouldn't want to hide that from us, would you?

Also, how did UofI play a game without two tackles? I assume they had someone start there, but I am confused about how they played without any starters there. Maybe you meant that tackles who were previous backups started in place of injured players who normally start, right? With your intense attention to detail making sure that all comparisons were accurate, that tidbit confused me.

The difference is, Iowa didn't almost lose to Kansas.

If we're talking narrow wins over suspect opponents I wouldn't puff out your chest too far. Iowa just beat two teams that are a combined 1-11 in the Big 10 by a combined 13 pts. If you want to go back three games and count Maryland too that's a combined 1-17 by a 29 combined pts.

And TCU's only loss is to a 10-0 team.

Don't forget...
- beat a (probably) 3-9 team, ISU, in a close one. Tied ballgame, ISU had ball at 50 with 6 mins left.
- beat Indiana by 1 score, 0-6 in the b1g
- Illinois was driving to beat them in the 4th before fumbling off his own lineman.

Beat 8-2 northwestern by 40
Beat 8-2 Wisconsin on the road
Beat 7-3 Pitt

See I can cherry pick stats too

They just won against Kansas, at home, by 6.
