The only reason he said that was because he knows the transfer rules. Not sure how you blew it that far out of proportion.
Tuco's brother
All I said was if he's anything like Chris, he'll get some solid PT. I have no idea if he's 1/4 of the player Chris is, just being wishful. All I said wrong was I wasn't sure if he was eligible next season (I just assumed it)
It's amazing that we're at a point in college basketball where if a guy doesn't contribute his freshman year, he's definitely going to be a practice player his entire career. Ridiculous. Nick gets a year to develop with Fred and then 3 more to continue to improve. I, for one, think this is a great addition for the future.
Yeah, people probably need a reminder that Frank Kaminsky averaged 1.8 pts on 7.7 min a game his freshman year. Not saying Nick will every be a Kaminsky, but I'm not dismissing him outright.
Did I not just say I wasn't calling him Kaminsky? I simply used him as an example that freshman performance is not always a good gauge for predicting future success. I suppose I could've just as easily pointed to Naz Long's 1.4 pts on 6.9 min. Seems a few people would've relegated him to the practice squad as well.Careful with the Kaminsk comparisons.
