All loses are bad an no fun. That being said the things being said about this team are the same things that have been said about past teams.

I am actually glad that these guys lost today. And I am a huge Cyclone fan. Maybe now they will learn that they cannot play from behind. This is the way they played last year and our new coach said he was going to let them continue to play as they did last year. Looks like a big mistake. These guys have to learn to take control of the game in the first few minutes and not get fancy and cocky after they do get a lead.

I will never be satisfied with losing to UNI. Not like this was the 2009 UNI team either.

This UNI team also beat North Carolina. They're pretty damn good, and they can beat anyone when they're hot from long range.

I HATE losing to these directional schools! Not a bad loss? Thell that to the NCAA selection committee in March

Considering that UNI is looking like a good bet to be ranked for the rest of the season and earn a top-5 seed in the tourney, I highly doubt the committee is going to be counting this as a bad loss.

I know losing a game isn't fun, but jesus, people. Pull yourselves together.

Im talking about teams that actually move without the ball. We got destroyed on off the ball screens vs Buffalo and pine bluff for wide open layups. I'm not talking about tonight, or UNI in general, as they always execute very well. If a big 12 team runs decent team offense we will have a tough time

Don't you get tired of jumping off of ledges?

I will never understand the crazy b.s. that comes out of this fan base. We played a team that BEAT the number 1 team in the MF country. We played poorly and only lost by a close margin and all of a sudden, we are a ****** team?? God, I hate our fans. A bunch of effing hawk wannabes crybabies. We had an off night against a proven ballclub. We will recover. We will be awesome. Go eff yourselves if you feel the sky is falling. You fail at life.

Jacobson just really seems like he would fit in over in Madison next year.

I get they beat the #1 team in the country without their stud PG, but they have some pretty bad losses also. More concerning to me is ISU when they don't hit the three has looked very vulnerable see UAB last year and our three ball has been pretty average so far.

Everyone here realizes there are only like 10 or 12 undefeated teams left in D1 CBB right? Be glad you were apart of the last standing. Good teams lose to bad teams. Four top 10 teams lost today. If the negativity on this board is a representation of ISU fans, we don't deserve nice things. It absolutely comical how butt hurt people here are after starting the season 9-1. Enjoy the ride.

Agree. We jack up and settle for 3's waayyyyy too much, especially against teams who would have trouble matching up with us if we take it consistently to the hole.

Not a damaging resume loss. Bad loss because it's a game ISU should be able to win. I guess after playing with fire vs. Iowa and surviving, this is a trade-off.

It'll oust us from top 5 ranking. Time will tell if the team can climb back into that range.

Find a way to win at UC and that levels it a bit.

No such thing as a good loss, but tonight confirmed what I suspected. We are a 5 or 6 seed in the tournament, probably have 10 losses along the way. And that's not overreaction to the loss...I think we have too little depth and they still haven't figured out how to step on the throat of the opposing team.

I'm really not upset about the loss and will continue to cheer and follow every game. But, I thought "Final Four" caliber team was overreaching at the beginning of the season, and am confident of that now.

I still plan to enjoy the team and these seniors for this season.

They should win the MVC and have two wins against the top 5 before Christmas. Nobody has two wins of that caliber right now.

That conference + their losses? It's not happening. I'll bet your job that it doesn't.

Fine, maybe not a 5 seed. But for crying out loud, some of you are acting like ISU just lost to Grambling State. UNI is a good team that the committee is not going to consider a bad loss.

ISU coming up bricks while UNI couldn't miss from NBA range. A number of phantom fouls in that second half. ISU's first game with Burton and with no Naz. The fact it came down to a last second shot should actually encourage all of us. UNI is a good team and a lot of teams in the country would lose (by a much larger margin) with that shooting performance. I would have preferred more emphasis on getting in the paint as UNI had zero answer instead of shooting some of those 3's. That's really my only complaint. @ Cincinnati will be tough.

About covers it for me to and that was probably my only complaint but then again I am not a basketball genius like the fans that are coming out of the woodwork since the game to pee in our soup here.

Wait, we are overreacting about a loss....which is gonna happen. And you are overstating UNIs tourney seed. I guess that's gonna happen too.
