Was wondering if anyone else is going to be like me and not fill out a bracket this year. I love the tournament and have found that I am often conflicted over who I want to win based on my bracket. I just want to watch for the pure joy. I have contemplated not doing it in the past, but in the end, I did.

Just wondering if I am the only one.

I always fill out the bracket as it goes, so I can say that I have a perfect bracket every year. (Just after the fact.)

I didn't want to either, but I've got my eyes getting some Warren Buffet money.

Every year I think about whether I should not fill out a bracket, then .5 seconds later, the urge passes.

I would fill it out even if I didn't "officially enter a pool," so I might as well anyway.

I do understand the idea of just watching it unfold without being "invested" in it.

I stopped filling out brackets several years ago. For me, it makes the tourney lots more fun. I hated having to root for teams that I disliked, just to win a bracket. Get to pull for all the underdogs.... Except those playing ISU.

I didn't last year. Makes it much more fun to root for who you want to win, rather than who you predicted. March Madness is way too fun when you're just enjoying it for what it is rather than trying to play ESPN analyst.

I contemplated not doing it because whenever I bet on a team, they lose, and I feel like penciling ISU in all the way this year. Dont want to jinx them....

I'm in the same camp as a few of you where I like watching the tourney without feeling like I'm just rooting for my bracket.

I still fill several out every year, however I usually do it early in the week and then don't really think about them. I usually forget what I've picked, and root for whoever I want. Then i review it at the end of the day to see how bad my homer picks failed.

Just fill out a whole bunch. Most likely they will have some different picks so you can root for whoever you want and still hope your brackets work out.

Usually my bracket is so full of red X's after the first round anyways, I just end up rooting and not caring about my picks.
