I actually was just wondering if Mac will be booed on the floor of Hilton next year. Does anyone know if an ISU coach has ever been booed in Hilton?

Im not a mac fan at all anymore, but i really hope we dont see this..

Anyone else bringing FIRE MCDERMOTT signs to the Spring Football Game?

Fans really need to start showing their displeasure a little more to our AD - President of the University. Just to get this horrible coach out of here.

Me, either, on both counts. If it comes to booing our own coach, we're managing to look even worse.

It can't get any worse than what we've seen. The play on the court/coaching decisions during the game has been horrid/and the behind the scenes has been an absolute embarrassment (player defections.)

It is one guy's fault..... Greg McDermott. IMO he doesn't deserve this job.....

Haven't look through all the pages, but did anyone else hear the phone interview with Colvin on channel 13? He said that he was leaving because he felt McDermott's system wasn't a good fit for his game. Declined comment on why other players have been leaving.

Yeah, I did catch that. Colvin didn't mesh with McD's "style." I guess that it was smart that he stated that he could only speak about "his" situation....and why he was leaving.....and thus couldn't speak for the other guys. If he had said anything.....reporters would be talking to him all night.

Worst post ever and if you did this I would hope someone would kick your arse. Our newest signee will be at the game and this is just disrespect beyond anything that is reasonable.

Grow up.

Not showing up would be a much better way to go. I don't think booing at the game would be a good choice. I remember the hawk fans booing their seniors on senior day when they lost to Western Michigan. We are better then that although I do think GMAC deserves to be booed.... without mercy.

Winning 15 games (roughly 50% of it's games) probably just a tad under.

You don't think there are many more teams that have had a worse losing record? This post has to be one of the most over dramatized statements I've read in a while.

How many wins do you think ISU would have if the non-con schedule wasn't padded with slack teams year after year?

ISU is a member of the Big 12, and the basketball program is judged relative to ISU's Big 12 peers. How close to a 0.500 Big 12 winning % has ISU been over the past 4 years?

If those 15 wins meant a hill of beans, ISU would be in some kind of post season play. The fact that ISU hasn't been to post season play indicates that 15 wins is not an accomplishment for a Big 12 school.

Going to be a while, along while...Keep waiting.

This..and I don't understand why. Mac has done and shown nothing over the course of his career here to justify keeping him as head coach. Zero, zilch, nada, squat.

He is committing the two most cardinal sins a coach can make.

1. Losing...and continued losing.
2. Player retention. He just can't keep players to stick around.

He has had plenty of time at this point to right the ship and at least get it headed in the right direction. He has failed completely.

Maybe McDermott agreed to walk away next year with no buyout in exchange for not getting the boot this year. Just looking for a sliver lining...but somehow I keep finding rusty tin...

Something...I see no way possible Mac is our coach after next year. I think the departing players/coaches know the exact same thing.

We won't win any more games than we did this year that much we know for sure. Even if we sign a talented player or two Mac has shown consistently that he can't get them to play to potential.
