I just explained to my friend who grew up in Sioux city the other day that popcorn is a different thing. He thought they somehow treated the sweet corn to turn it into the hard popcorn. He also didn't know about field corn.

I told him how my grandpa always planted one row of popcorn...and he was like 'you mean there is a popcorn plant?'
Bet he loves Scott Frost too.

I like one that looks like it was drunkenly written with a black sharply that simply says “Luka Garza is Ugly”

There's just a lot of options so picking just one is harder than it looks.

Iowa fans are like 'Yeah 'Clowns' (original) you have a bad history at football and are one of the few teams we've consistently beaten ever!' and...that's it.

Over/under on guys with cramps or having to leave game from heat this afternoon? Could be the wildcard. I think picking those black uniforms for today may prove to be the stupidest uniform decision since Earl Bruce's "Beat Iowa" uni's from way back. That's my pre-game call. At least it's not turf and real grass but will still be hotter than hades in the sun dressed in black.

The white helmets and pants will help a bit with the heat/sun. Plus we'll have the shade tents (FU Baylor), the cooler/shaded side of the field, air conditioners and the new cooled sideline benches.

Not quthe same thing, but I played in a summer baseball league in the midwest in the mid 90s a our uniforms were black hats and black jerseys. I don't ever remember one of my 18-22 year old teammates mentioning black uniforms once on one of the multiple 95-plus degree days.

I'd argue the Big 12 is more morally corrupt by not revoking or suspending Baylor than ESPN has been on anything. Money is money, ESPN isn't a criminal syndicate. Did the Big 12 even put out a strongly worded letter against one of their football programs running a rape syndicate?

If it would have been ISU I'd have demanded we suspend the program a few years for the sake of my degree's value. It was Penn State if Penn State had happened 3 days ago instead of 35 years ago, literally nothing happened to the school and program from the league or NCAA.

*edit* I see a couple big Ken Starr/Jeff Epstein fans didn't like this dose of truth.

Let's not forget Patrick Dennehy.

From what I've read about just about every scandal that has occurred at Baylor since the Big 12 was formed (and it's not just rapes and murders), they were one short step away from the death penalty, and probably would have been given it if it wasn't for the fact that the NCAA stopped doing it with the way it wiped SMU completely off the map like a nuke. Probably one of the biggest reasons why the remaining members of the Big 12 don't give a rip about what happens to Baylor in the realignment process and would probably just dump them if they could get away with it.

One thing I will agree with you on is I highly doubt anyone would be proclaiming the moral injustice being done to this conference if ISU's future wasn't on the line.

Can we deny Iowa tents on the sideline?

Realignment sucks but outside of some typical dishonesty it's not about morally right and morally wrong.

We should only expect corporations like Disney/ESPN to maximize profits.

lol the school that produced the bankers and lawyers that destroyed the ag industry in the 80s trying to pretend like they're farmers.

ANF!

There is NO metropolis on earth like Iowa City and in no way is it surrounded by cornfields like every other town in Iowa.
