We need gamewatch bingo cards for the Baylor game since so many of us will be home watching it on TV.

Does anyone know a good active Baylor forum? Curious to see what they're saying about the game.

Just checked BaylorFans.com and there isn't much going on there. Did pick up a little nugget for tonight's game... Baylor's bench isn't great. Per one of their posters their bench has scored a grand total of 1 point in their last 3 games.

Call Fred and tell him we need to get the Bears starters in foul trouble...

I'm glad Heslip is finally gone. He was the guy who would always find a way to get an open three when we doubled to the inside.

That forum called a time out.

I think this game hinges on how well we can contain Gathers. If we can keep him from getting a double-double, I think we win no problem. If he goes off like he did on TCU (18 rebs, 17 pts), I'll worry. The guy's a freak.

this. my glasses arent as rosey as everyone elses hope for the big win before KU at home, but Baylor on the road will be hard as hell.

He hasn't seemed to do well against ISU in the past, but maybe he just hasn't had the playing time with Austin and Jefferson there. When ISU goes small they do give him his offensive boards but seem to usually get a couple of quick fouls on him.

Tonight will be a tough game -- probably tougher to win than KU at home on Saturday.

I think a big part of that is that he's exactly the type of player that struggles most with Georges. He and especially Motley can be foul machines. Getting them in foul trouble would be huge.

ADDING: Last year in 3 games against ISU:

40 minutes, 7 fouls, 5 points, 9 boards

That is the sign of a very good "team". On any given night somebody is going to bring their "A" game.

Normally I would agree with you but seeing how Tech has also had 8 different high scorers I would be wrong.

One difference is that only one of those high scorers (Williams with 21, 3 times) has scored at least 20 points. With them it is more about general team futility than someone bringing their A game.

I'm having a hard time predicting this game. X-factor I'm curious how this team will respond to the zone. More effective than last season's team? Less so?

3 keys I'm sure, that'd probably lock a win:
1. Multiple players "on" from 3
2. Limit offensive rebounds
3. Don't get sloppy with passing in half-court

Gathers was terrible last year against Iowa State. Basically was a foul machine.
