I'm not even mad, we're a good team, just not nearly as good as we all thought we were. Fred has been driving me crazy lately with his lack of time out usage when other teams are making their runs. But I don't know ****, and Fred is a genius, so who am I to judge.

I think we just aren't as good offensively as we have been, and are really poor defensive...so just makes it really tough down the stretch. Plus we got a lot of guys that can't play 4o minutes like ejim could, and lot of times no help off the bench...makes it tough when you get tired and can't score.

Right , since Fred isn't a good coach let's fire him. He hasn't done anything for ISU. We surely can find a better coach. No one likes to lose but CF really gets carried away.

I never said let's fire him. I love him, and want to keep him. He can recruit like crazy. I just wish he knew what he was doing in the last 5 minutes of games. Then we'd really be special.

We stopped playing again. This is a trend. I'm sick of watching this team blow leads. I'm sick of this team choosing not to play once the get a decent lead. I'm sick of the stupid turnovers once they get the lead. I'm sick of it all. This is a trend. This is an awful trend. We should have walked away with a 20 point win today. Once Baylor takes care of business we'll be in a tie for 3rd with 6th place looming. We could have finished first, but now we wont even be close. I don't want to hear single word about how lucky the stretch by Kansas State was, or how it was such a fluke, or how this was a wake up call. It's none of those things, this is 100% about how we cannot close out games and cannot play with a lead.

Rant over.

My post was accurate - don't act like a sissy baby with no education if you don't like the comment.

hahaha, you're the worst poster on here, just once add something to the board. I forgot more basketball than you will ever know. Everything you post us weak.

This team doesn't have a burning desire to win at all costs. We should be running teams like this out of the gym, and then stepping on their throats. This team likes to have "fun" but doesn't have a leader with grit and heart to push them. I thought Georges would be that guy but his attitude, along with Naz and Dustin, is basically "how are we not winning when we are so much better than these guys". I'll answer that, guys - they don't slack on defense, they don't make as many dumb passes, they don't concede baskets by playing lazy defense, and they don't take their foot off the pedal. We do. We are complacent, sloppy, too concerned with making the showy play at times, and only play hard about 50% of the time.

Now, having said all that, think about where we were 5 years ago. CFH is obviously an amazing coach and we have tons of great talent. I want to love this team SO BAD! We just have raised expectations...this team could be a national championship team (if Kentucky didn't exist) but instead, they just want to run the clock out and get to the "games that really matter". Note - in a 30-game season, every game matters. I'm proud to be a Cyclone because we have heart and an unending desire to get to the higher echelon of college sports. We want it so badly. These guys are showing that maybe they really don't...and as a lifelong Cyclone who sees the potential in this team, that is incredibly disheartening.

We lost the last 2 games because we tried to make too many hard plays instead of keeping it simple. Result, too many turnovers. We don't do that in games we win.

We threw away 4 inbound passes the end of Baylor game and this one. Were they all Niang?

Nobody is saying Fred isn't a great coach, he is, we are blessed to have him. He would be first to admit he made some errors the last couple games. Best coach in the world isn't perfect. He's a young coach, he's going to make errors. The last two games he's made a lot. It happens. He will learn from it.

Here nor there
He's been terrible the last two games, can't dispute that.
Lol. We have had some bad possessions. I suppose if you view a good game but a loss to a more talented team (Baylor) and you think he had Georges throw a hortible pass.

Anyone that has watched this team and college basketball without Cyclone goggles realizes we are not out-talenting many decent teams. We are good because of Hoiball.
The only thing you can put on the staff is that they needed to gran another lead guard for this year.

We were basically playing with a six man rotation for the last 8 minutes of the game. Nader and BDJ were no where to be seen. I don't even remember seeing BDJ the entire second half. Hence our starters got tired and blew the lead. I understand Nader and BDJ weren't playing great, but you need to give the other guys a rest, especially on the road.

Maybe this happens in practice, but CFH needs to get on the guys a little for the dumb s**t they pull over and over again in games (hogue)
