Yesterday was not the greatest for us. I was unable to make the trip to KC to see our Clones defeat KSU, as my mother-in-law passed away suddenly. My wife found her on the floor of her home BR Thurs morning, when going over to see to her needs. They say she might have been deceased over 24 hours. She was 87. Not a great start to our day.

But time passes, and it was most assuredly her time as she was in very poor health with severe dementia. They say she probably had a heart attack and felt no pain. As Christians, we feel she is home now.

I was able to watch Thursdays game on TV. Good win!

Life goes on!

Go Cyclones!!!

Be glad you don't live on the east coast. Starting work at 5 AM also makes it rough on game nights. When games are at 8 or 9 east coast time during the weekdays I'll usually take an extra long nap since it means only 3-4 hours of sleep after the game. Luckily today is a Friday, the girlfriend has book club, so I've got a trip to the casino scheduled where I can play poker all night and watch the ISU game at the sports bar. Sounds like a perfect Friday night tonight!

I there with you. Just finished my second cup of coffee getting ready for a meeting. At least it's work from home Friday, and I can use my normal commute time to take a nap.
