We can get 'em in Ames. I think today we saw that Lipsey and Holmes don't have much experience playing point guard in Big 12 basketball games. We'll get that fixed. Great effort. They were a million times more afraid of losing that than when they were down 10 to OU.

they missed a key travel on KU. Those turnovers killed us, just killed us. 5 turnovers in 6 possessions. Have to settle down and play smarter, we lost between the ears over a two minute stretch.

Well that was a hard fought game and the officials didn't decide it today. Impressive.

I just have to say. **** Kansas

Grill got fouled going out of bounds. Osh got fouled and they gave them free throws. Travel by them on the baseline.

Sounds like ISU got ******(again) at KU. The rest of the schools in this league aught to get together and refuse to even ******* play there anymore until something is done about the the ******* bought and payed for refs.

Osi stays out of foul trouble and we win that going away. I like Jones but he was absolutely brutal today.

Agree on this one today. Wish we wouldve gone Ward or King when Rob was sunbed in w/ 5 pt ld? Quickly disappeared.

Overall pleased with the gane wish result would've been different.

KU scouted us well. Lipsey, Grill and Gabe never got comfortable. Gabe was able to get his despite. Needed a bit more from Holmes today.

Clearly Kansas plays very clean, non-fouling basketball.

Good D by KU to keep Tamin from getting downhill and dishing out for a shot. Tough one for the guys, KU alway wins close ones there. Could tell this one meant a lot for KU and fans, not like OU catching them off guard. Still a chance to get them back at home.

Great effort but the 2nd half TO’s kept us from bringing this W home. On to Texas.

That stretch where we gave it away like 5 times in a row without getting a shot up, was very important. Not even caused by the opponent.

It's like there was a body swap for like 3 minutes real time with a group of junior high players.

Other than that, I think our guys have more heart than them. It may come in handy later.

Yep, that part of the game might have been the difference. We panicked.

Win that game with Jaz or if Grill or Jones or King showed up

King played outstanding defense. Jones was Jones, someone who will be a zero when he struggles. If Kunc plays Watson, who gave us great minutes, plays less.

Bigger issue was Shoon being in foul trouble. This game shows why he needs to play 30 minutes whenever fouls allow. We are so much better with him on the floor than Jones.

Close games like this reiterate the need for competent refs. One bad decision can cost a team the game.

With KU not in the bonus they could play really rough, and they did. Hard to get a good shot in that situation

I mean, it's not. That is what has happened for 125 years. It's the same bull **** all the time. This was one of the least terribly officiated games I've seen.

We can pi$$ pound this KU team in Hilton. They are skilled but not long and physical. I think we’re building more depth every game too as seen with Watson today.
