They're just not that fast. And Kansas has studs. Add injuries, wear and tear of the season and this is what can happen to a defense. You can't just run faster.

I just can’t wrap my mind around not putting pressure on daniels and then letting them have soft coverage with no over the top help. Can anyone explain what I’m missing here?

If they pressure, it leaves an opening elsewhere and KU has a lot of speed in their skills players.
