Trying to get pressure with just 3 and it's not working. Why anyone thought that would work against OU is beyond me.

It's worked to give ISU a chance in prior years.

It's really hard to beat better if it plays better.

ISU needs to run their faster players out there the next series.

This 3 man rush against really good QBs is infuriating. Especially when we STILL get gashed in the secondary.

Dropping 8 to make it tough for a young QB is not a bad play at all, but your secondary can't be what ours has been so far this season. The secondary isn't good enough to not have the front 3 get there for pressure. Until they show better understanding of coverage to allow the front 3 to get some heat on Rattler, you might as well try a couple of different disguised blitzes to see how Rattler handles them. Secondary is likely going to get carved up either way at this point. We shall see.
