Where did Niang and Hogue go in the second half? and why did McKay stop getting looks after the 7 min mark.

The conference title dying tonight is the most disappointing part of this loss. TT loss was embarrassing, tonight's loss is just deflating. Worked hard for the opportunity, and let it get away the first chance we got. Can the NCAA tournament start now...I'm over the conference at this point.

We wasted a great effort by Thomas and McKay. Did anyone notice that Baylor went on their 3 point barrage when McKay was on the bench? Not sure if it was a factor, but a strange coincidence.

This is the problem. We didn't guard them tight at all. That's why they finished with 14 3s. Teams don't make 14 tightly contested 3s.

The first 3 of their 5 in a row the D was fine. We played bad D but they couldn't miss regardless even when we were right on them. If the don't make tightly defended 3s they don't score 9 in a row leading to 15 in a row.

Honestly we did this to KU a few years ago when we made like 18 3s. KU fans shrugged it off, I can see why. It's a very legit win, but it's not something you can rely on. Even if we play crap defense Baylor wouldn't shoot like that against us often.

Just before Baylor hit those 3 3's right in a row, there was a shot of McKay, BDJ, and someone else joking around on the bench. With a 5 point lead. That's deserving of a loss.

That's not what championship teams do.

Old habits die hard, and bad perimeter defense did just that.

Holberg got out-Hoiballed tonight, and as great as he is, if he doesn't start making defense a real priority, to where his players actually play it like they want the ball back, winning a couple of games in the NCAA tourney will be the ceiling.

most were directed at the last minute or so and then fouling after letting 20 some sec pass. Naz was looking at the bench. Didn't know what to do.

Fred opted to let some time run and wait to foul until the ball was out of Cherry's hands, who is great from the line. I do think coaches now wait way to long to start fouling to extend the game, but seems it's what everybody does.

To blow an opportunity like that on your home court. Can't put into words how much that sucks.

Hogue didn't do anything all game, Georges really struggled in the second half.

McKay stopped getting looks when Baylor switched to man, ISU didn't score much after that.

It must be a coincidence, role players shouldn't make that big of a difference.

Props to Baylor. I didn't think they had it in them vastly underestimated them.

This is the 7th or 8th time I've heard that this season.

I'm sick of hearing every game how teams "won't shoot like that often" and then every team goes out and does it.

For those of you keeping score they made 7 in a row.

You gotta have a big *** lead to give up seven three pointers in a row. Like we had in order to skate against Bevo.

Was the crowd supposed to get pumped from all the bricks we layed? Or the horrendous defense?

Dont be a duche. They am were trying to do too much. Like they were trying to win the championship each play. Hoiberg needed to calm them down it didn't happen. And baylor who had nothing to lose had a great game plan taking away our inside and spreading us out on Offense. We got beat by hoiball tonight. Props to drew, hell of a coaching job. Frankly we still have a perimeter defense issue. We need to be able to go small. (Did I say that?) Texas did it to us in their come backs and while it didn't work it showed coaches a weakness. I am glad this will force fred to be ready for it. I don't know how the season will play out but these guys can play loose now and be hunters again. I don't give a crap what ku does want our team ready for march. We could very well be a better March team because of the loss tonight.

I think we have to go into Disaster Recovery Mode.

Need to concentrate on Getting 3-4 seed in the NCAA Tourney and settle for just getting a 2-4 seed in our league Tourney and getting to the championship game.
CONSISTENT Good teams don't lose like we do.

because we got swept by BU and lost to TT. We are like a really hot hooker. We could end up winning the tournament as a 3 seed or we could we could get shot an alley.

Talk about a waste of opportunity
