Back to being ranked and the team with the target.

There are no bad teams in this conference, so imo it would be a bigger win than it would be a big loss. I guess in the context of getting a requisite seed for DSM and making the postseason run that our roster is capable of, a loss tonight would be impactful.

Fun time of the year.

A nice thing to knock out would be to win there...how long's it been?
Don’t we have just one win there since Fizer clinched the conference title in 2000? I think we won in 2012-13. We didn’t play in Waco every year, but a loss tonight isn’t that big of deal given how tough it is to win with no fans watching.

1 point loss in 2014-15, OT loss in 2015-16, 2 point loss in 2016-17.

I'm cautiously optimistic. I don't think we score in the high 70s or in the 80s though... just by the style that Baylor plays. I'll go 71-67.

Agree. The result is either +1 or 0. Clearly a +1 would be big for our title aspirations.

Man I want this one bad down there. Scott Drew always seems to have our number. That game a few years ago still stings a little when we gave up a significant lead at Hilton after Drew called a timeout every time we made a shot in the second half.

Is it true we've won more times at the Phog than in Waco (1-12)? Time to start a new streak, just like at OSU, who owned us for years there.

No. Not sure what the entire record is but winning there hasn't happened very often.

Never been but just looks like a weird place to play.

• The Cyclones have won two of the last three meetings in the series...Baylor is one of four Big 12 teams the Cyclones own a series lead against (TCU, Texas Tech, West Virginia).

Sounds like it's been about enough years for history to repeat itself...
