Good night for Iowa last night...assuming they beat Nebraska and NW, I think they will get in if they beat Michigan in the second round. The bubble teams are collapsing right now.

Possible but highly unlikely. IMO, they need an even bigger run than that.

Saw the bubble watch at we're still in the "work left to do" category. Even after Kentucky losing we can't catch a break.

It probably is that the teams ahead of us have a better profile and are keeping us in the last 4 byes area. I think with the collapse of the other bubble teams, we are in a good position. Our profile looks better compared to them every day.

Michigan has been struggling lately. They pulled an epic no-show against Penn State and were lucky to escape the Purdue game with a comeback win. Iowa would have an excellent shot at beating them if they continue to struggle.

We just need all the mid majors to have their favorites win the tourney. No room to spare:

Yes. It would be nice if teams already locked into the tournament dominate the early rounds of the conference tourneys. The fewer upsets we see early on in these tournaments means the fewer bubble teams there are out there improving their resumes. Some bubble teams are only needing a win or two in their conference tourneys to help them secure a spot. These teams need to make early exits.

11 seed vs Wisconsin in Austin. Potential matchup with #3 Miami in next round.

Bracketology - NCAA College Basketball Brackets and Predictions - ESPN

I would commit morally reprehensible behavior to get Austin. Good ISU crowd down here.

I hate watching games that involve Wisconsin! So boring...that said...it would be an interesting match-up due to the Matt Thomas recruitment by both schools! It will have no bearing on it since his is "ours"...but Bo would love to beat ISU on the court to make a statement for future recruiting battles.

Can you imagine the meltdown if this bracket was what happened and KU/Mizzou played in the 2nd round in KC? That would be priceless.

The 11 line is where I want to be this year to stay on the bottom half of the region. Everyone says the 1's are weak, what does that say about the 2's?

Beat WVU and we are a lock. Lose out and I'll be sweating bullets and we would need a break from other teams.
