I remember reading that Michael Warren's recruiting was going to erupt after he received a college qualifying ACT score, but has it really? It's been a few weeks now since and I haven't been able to find anything on him recently regarding other programs coming after him. Does anyone know more about his offers since he qualified?

The dead period just ended, so we'll probably learn more in the next week or so who has contacted him and positioning to gain his commitment in these final couple of weeks. Should be a fun couple of weeks.

Dead period just ended and a lot of schools have full classes.

Correct if I am wrong here guys but was Mister supposed to come in a running back and/or slot type guy? I seem to remember the coaches predicting him more into that role with his versatility. Do either Warren or Mack seem to show more of of that type of skill set?

After looking around for info to post on CW's thread on recruiting, late visitors, and DTs, I came across this guy on the Scout site:

Scout.com: Antonio Guy Profile

Here's his Rivals profile:
Antonio Guy - Yahoo! Sports

2013 stats (per CCCAA site): 44 Tackles, 3.5 sacks, 4 forced fumbles (couldn't find TFLs)
2012 stats (per Scout profile): 39 tackles, 12 TFLs, 2 sacks (didn't have FFs)

Scout shows Antonio Guy visiting...Today?
Scout.com: Football Recruiting
Would be a very good get at a position of need.

Visitors on the 24th:

No David Moala - hopefully we are not out of it with him. Would love to land Moala & Guy.

Do we still have any shot with Greg Gooch? That's who I really want us to get.

I also want either Mister or Warren at RB, and either Moala or Guy at DT. Obviously we'd probably take both Moala and Guy if they both want to come though.

Crazy-do a search on Rivals of 4.4 or less and you see there are only 5 sub-4.4's in the country that have a D1 offer. Warren is one of them and he's the only one that weighs more than 180. Most of the sub-4.4's are just guys that reported that as their speed, including a guy named Grant from Dyersville.... If legit, this would be a big get.
He had sub 4.4 timed at A&M and a camp according to his mom.

It says Guy is visiting the last weekend before signing day now. I wish we could heat up our DL recruiting one of these years.

I'm pretty sure the Scout site had him listed as visiting today - must have been changed as it now lists 1/31. That will be a big day as Moala is also shown as visiting. Close 'em, Coach Rhoads!

Lol. If grant hammann ran a 4.8 I'd be shocked. 4.4 is just ridiculous. His dad (head coach) goes a great job of pitching his kids to colleges (his brother Derek is a walk on here).

Josh Lenz ran a 4.36. 4.4 is crazy because we don't usually get those kind of guys but there are a number of 4.4s out there.
