***Official 2015 NHL Playoff Thread***

During the Blackhawks broadcast, I was surprised to hear that Nashville was scared about too many Chicago fans in the stands, so they only let people order tickets with Tennessee addresses on their credit cards.

If you were Q, would you start Crawford or Darling on Friday?

Crawford.

With that being said:

Man, this is a tough one. It's tough benching your starter, but Darling is a major reason they won that game and basically had a shutout+ last night.

I kind of want to start Darling, but then Crawford might be in the tank for a while mentally.

If you start Crawford on a short leash and you have to pull him early again, he's definitely going to be in the tank mentally.

That's true. I'm fine with Darling starting, and it was a brilliant move to pull Crawford early because it gave him some rest even if we lose, but also the upside of winning a game we really shouldn't have.

You have to start Crawford, and a good decision.

I am interested if Q chnages the lines up. They have been having trouble getting the puck to the net the last few weeks. There are quite a few new players, so not shocked, but concerned.

Also, I will never understand the Blackhawks commitment to the poke check defense strategy. Last in the league in hits. Hitting people is good defense, taking them off the puck. All we do is poke poke poke check. I'm not saying be the St.Louis Blues, but be at least middle of the pack in physicality.

One player I have been impressed with the last couple of years is Nik Hjalmarsson. He has really improved and the goal last night was a great play.

I can't stand Chicago. I hope Nashville beats the **** out of them, though I don't think it will happen.
The Wild fan in me wants Chicago, see you in the second round Dubynk is carrying us to The Cup!

Finally someone I can agree with! Until the Wild face the Ducks at least.

Redwings win! Though their is no way they'll win this series getting outshot like that, but I'll still enjoy this one

What do you think of the Wings in the Eastern Conference? I hate that they lost the old rivalries and that Chicago is the only original 6 in the West, but it is a lot easier on travel and must be kind of fun as a fan.

I hate it too, mainly because I grew up with them being in the West, and it's still weird to me that they're in the East. I get geographically it makes more sense, but losing those rivalries sucks as a fan

Yeah, I would think it is kind of cool at first to see some new teams regularly, but the rivalries are all gone now. I miss the old Norris at times.

Wild looking very good right now. Just outplaying the Blues

That is just a tough series. Either of those teams have a legit shot at the cup I think. Very glad the Hawks avoided both in the first round.

Blues brought it in 3rd period but couldn't pull it off. Going to be a heck of a series I think.
