If the 76ers ever make a championship, I feel like they will become villains. They aren’t the result of some innovative “process”. The Royals
trusted the process 10 years before Philly did. And Embiid seems dumb to me rather than charismatic.

They'll be seen as villains because the media as well as coaches, owners, and even the NBA themselves are already painting them as villains with the whole "how dare they lose at historic levels for years" attitude. Sure, others have tried it, such as the Royals, but it took them, what - 30 years for them to be relevant? It may not be a new concept to tank at the level the Sixers did, but it doesn't mean it's not a gigantic gamble because the draft is never a sure thing, even if you're always drafting in the first 3 picks. I mean, look at T-Wolves, Kings, and the Clippers through the '80s, '90s, and much of the '00s. The "uniqueness" in what the Sixers have done is it seems to have paid off in spades, and they turned their franchise around much quicker than most teams do in the intentionally tanking process.

And be honest (intelligence aside) - the reason why you hate Embiid because he was a J-hok that was nothing but a splinter in the ass of our Cyclones.

Now that you say that, English isn’t even Embiid’s first or second language so what am I doing basing his intelligence on how he speaks.

You are totally right.

The Nuggets' sunset stuff (if you're talking about what I think you're talking about) is full rainbow; this is just the reds, oranges, and yellows.

Uck!

If Utah wants to rebrand and change its nickname (to more closely reflect is actual region) and colors, that's OK. If not, It should be purple/blue/green with the Quarter-note "J" and basketball Either break with the past completely or don't.

The Nuggs are rebranding soon. Going back to the Mutumbo-era colors. No more powder blues.

Looks like to me the Jazz stole the old Houston Astros uniform colors Complete with the horizontal striping.

Don't watch pro ball during the season, but it is entertaining during the playoffs.

The Greek Freak - my favorite Buck since Jeff Grayer (for obvious reasons) and Sydney Moncrief before him (when I first got interested in the NBA & became a Bucks fan).

Bucks evened the series w/ Celtics. Does this make it "interesting" or is it ultimately going to go chalk?

Think home court lifted the depleted Celtics in first 2 games. Milwaukee will have to show they can go into Boston and win. Bucks Sixers would make one hell of a conf semifinals matchup.

IMO Indy needed to have that game. Cavs will take this in 6 games. And it looks like lady luck could deliver them the Wiz in the second round.

Results that have occurred in games 3 and 4 of Tor - Wsh are why few people should take the raptors seriously.

So the Raptors completely re-branded their offense over the off-season. It brings them a franchise record of wins and the #1 seed in the East. Yet with the last three or so minutes they go away from it in a tie ball game and let DeRozan (who couldn't hit the broadside of a barn yesterday) play iso, which didn't work for the past four playoffs. Absolutely maddening.

I think there's been an overreaction to the Pacers' loss on Sunday. It's not as if the team around Lebron is getting better. This is still very much a series. I think/hope Oladipo is going to go off tonight. He hasn't been all that great since Game 1. He's due.

So much for Oladipo going off. He has not been great at all recently. That looked like a goaltending on LeBron, but that 3 was clutch. Either way, Cavs won't make it out of the next round it looks like.

I'm getting LeBron goes to the Lakers and some others go too. Maybe Kawhi? Maybe Paul George? It makes too much sense for him basketball and non basketball wise to increase his brand, etc.

Yeah, that sucked. The series is basically Lebron 3 Pacers 2. He's so good it's unfair. It's a basketball felony to put that kind of roster around him.

Too early to tell what he's going to do this offseason. I don't think it's Philly. If I had to guess I'd say the Lakers and Rockets are the two likeliest landing spots, but who knows? Maybe there's a dark horse in the running that nobody is even considering right now.
