Not to mention if Dusty took out a gassed Prior, who admitted one of his later pitches got over the strike zone and shouldn't have and/or Dusty slowed down the game with a meeting with the players to settle them down, perhaps their performance would've been better. There were a handful Cub mistakes since that Bartman incident which were bigger contributors.

Also the Cubs blew game 7, being up in that game as well.

There is a reason Dusty has lost 9 straight playoff clinching games.

Have you watched Catching Hell? If not you should as it really opens your eyes to just how poorly the man was treated and how his life was turned upside down that night. They literally had to disguise him as part of the security team trying to sneak him out of Wrigley and even then people still figured it out and got on him so he had to go into hiding. The man's life was ruined over an instinct to try and catch a foul ball just like several others sitting near him were attempting to do (watch the video and see just how many hands came within inches of his.) I'm sure those people to this day are thankful it was not them that touched that ball, it was ridiculous just how Bartman was made the scapegoat for doing what most fans would have done in that situation. And any true Cubs fan knows that game was not lost because of Steve Bartman, Alou was no gold glove OF so even without him touching that ball it's unlikely he catches it then Alex Gonzalez booting what should have been a double play ground ball to end the inning is what led to the unraveling of that game.

I'm fine with him getting the ring as it doesn't even come close to making up for the wrong doings some idiot fans have done to him over the years that has made it nearly impossible for him to live a normal life. He has been gracious and humble this entire time, he easily could have done interviews, sold his story, wrote a book, had a press conference to receive the ring, etc, and made a fortune off the incident but instead he has tried to stay low profile and live as normal of a life as possible. He's probably one of the most true and loyal Cubs fans there is to go through what he has and still big a big fan of a team who some of their fans treated him like dirt and changed his life forever.

I've seen catching hell multiple times and watched the whole thing unfold live. As I said it was a ****** deal, but it was +13 years ago. The whole thing has dragged out too far. It happened in 2003 and were still apologizing and making efforts to make an amends. We've done our part as fans and as an organization. I don't have a problem with them giving him a ring. Classy move. Just didnt care for his statement.

I about guarantee his statement was manufactured by the Cubs PR dept.

Honestly, Dodgers are a scary ******* team, forget last year.

Kershaw, Darvish, possibly Scott Kazmir if he comes back healthy, Brandon McCarthy, Rich Hill.

#1 bullpen in the NL

When Adrian Gonzalez returns, their 3 outfielders will consist of Yasiel Puig, Joc Pederson, Chris Taylor, Andre Ethier, and Cody Bellinger.

Second base is their only gone to **** position, and Chase Utley is the backup. I'm sure his 7 years postseason experience doesn't hurt.

That being said, I think we can beat them. But I think they are the toughest team by far in the MLB.

Alex Wood will be in their postseason rotation unless he goes to crap down the stretch.

Could see them going Kershaw, Darvish, Wood, Hill.

Need your team's help with the D-backs this week, but usually the few times i need your team to come through they don't. Maybe I need to go reverse psychology and cheer for Arz. ;)

Tonights game SHOULD be a pitchers dual with the way Corbin has pitched as of late, but the Cubs have done well against lefties this year (although they got dominated by one on Friday), so we should have a slight advantage. I give the Cubs the slight advantage tomorrow, and Wednesday is a crap shoot. Ill be happy taking 2 of 3.

Still dont know who is pitching for Washington this weekend with Strasburgs status still up in the air, but if the Cubs can win 2 of those 3, I will be happy!

And Scherzer just left after an inning with an injury tonight, might catch a break there.
