No, did Graham get outplayed by NWB again? Did he shoot better on 3Ps than the 1-7 against Iowa State? I sure hope not, given NWBs injury.

I know you saw the second, but did you see the first OU game? Graham went 4-19 including 1-9 on 3Ps. I wonder if KU fans were thinking “after watching Devonte Graham against a freshman last night, I miss having a PG that can hit a three.”

Perhaps if you wait long enough you’ll find a game in which your cherries are not sour.

FFCy is downgrading Devonte Graham in defense of Nick Weiler-Babb. That should require a three-month ban.

"wait long enough you'll find a game in which your cherries are not sour". Anyone have a clue what the hell that means. Here's Graham's stats for the year:

17.7 PPG
4.1 RPG
7.2 APG
2.6/1 ASS/TO
42.3% 3P on 213 attempts!

They're not in the same ballpark. No need to wait for certain games to prove my point.

No one is saying Graham isn’t a great player, but nice try. In fact it’s the opposite. The criticism was of how weak you built your argument.

It’s telling that you needed an AA caliber pg to slight Babb. Do you often watch tapes of Curry and think of how disappointing Babb is in comparison? Not only that, but you used an anecdotal reference to a single aspect of a single game, a matchup that even that great pg shot his team out of the time before. Further, that AA pg that you’re using as a standard struggled in the head-to head.

If you need to resort to selecting one of an AA pg’s better games to criticize Babb, Babb’s very good. You may want to take a look at Graham’s junior stats when he had a similar usage to NWB, athough not injured or surrounded by marginal teammates like NWB.

You might take this a little too seriously. I wasn't "building an argument". I was making a simple observation. I was saying it would be nice to have a PG that can hit a three-pointer. Babb had six three-pointers in Big 12 play. You then got your panties in a bunch because Babb outplayed Graham head to head!!!!!!

Or do we want to get back to you telling me that there's a difference between a good passer and players that make the correct pass? That was a gem. Maybe it's you that should reflect on who you consider a "good passer".

Where was this argument? In my view, a guy that always makes the correct pass is the guy that always makes the safe pass whereas great passers see the floor at a level beyond the “correct” passers. It may just be semantics but I think I understand the point.

Here's FinalFourCy's quote: "It’s not about the lacking good passers, it’s about making the correct pass at the correct time"

I then said "That's what a good passer is." Good passers make the correct pass at the correct time. That's exactly what Monte was so good at. Georges was also fantastic at making the right pass, which often led to the hockey assist. They were both good passers. We need more good passers.

It's a semantic argument, but clearly FFCy thought when I said "good passer", I meant "spectacular passer". It was an arrogant assumption on his part. He believes he's the only poster on the board that's ever watched a basketball game.

Did you see Isaiah Thomas the other night? Makes NWB look so bad, you know?

If Cook transfers, I am sure Fran isn’t worried too much having such a deep bench of quality players. Next man in!

Looks like he was a good prospect out of high school. Not great numbers this year, but he was only a freshman. I'm guessing he'll generate interest from a lot of programs.

Wasn't there an Illinois fan on here posting how he was one of the best players to ever come out of the state or something similar to that?
