yeah normally we just say well it's only April.....
I know. Cruz can carry the team on his back for awhile (thank god) as long as the pitching is at least halfway decent but to beat the big boys we are going to need some bombas from the other parts of the middle of the line up.

Hopefully Homer still has something left in the tank. Same with Hill. Maeda on the other hand will most likely be our most reliable starter.
Bert needs to tell Berrios, throw the curve and throw it often.

It looks like Hill stuff has something left in the tank. Taylor Rogers made closing out the top of the lineup look easy.
He did have a good start for sure. D*ck Mountain made me feel a lot better about the rotation.

Hill's savy and experience reminds me of when the Twins brought in Morris. Great first game for him in the baby blues. Loved his comment about being around a long time and believing this Twins team is a good one.
Wow... god I hope your right about Morris.

Berrios not closing out guys with a two strike count tonight. Two fast balls down the middle to Ramirez and Lindor and it's 2-0. Throw your wipeout curve Jose!

Still waiting for Berrios to take a step up. He’s been at the same ability level the last couple of years. Maybe he’s just going to be a solid 2 or 3 starter.

Agree. He's an elite curveballer with a 95 mph fastball. With his stuff it comes down to execution. I hope Hill can show him how to use his multiple breaking balls at the right time in the count.
Hasn't helped Jose that the ump has missed about 8 K-zone strikes tonight.

This is were I am at. He’s not showing me the Twins should give him ace free agent dollars on his next deal. That’s likely what he might get. In that case, He may not be back.

I'm afraid you're right. Might turn out to be another Big Papi who leaves the Twins to go on to be a HOFer. But TK's no longer there, so we have a chance.

No doubt. He was electric tonight. Unfortunately the Twins swung at a lot of two strike pitches in the dirt. Donaldson's AB with two on was our only chance.
That guy has a few more ABs in the top of the lineup then you gotta start thinking about moving him down. He can always start getting hot and then move him back up. But Other than that oppo homer, he’s not been good, at all.
