I hope he doesn't. Love his insight.

Exactly. I don't mean it as a slight but it's the truth. I am thankful for George's unwavering commitment to the Cyclones and Bob works hard to get the most out of what he is.

But GC never got over his illegal screen issues on offense or figured out how to defend without fouling on defense. Bob's offensive talent simply gives him a low ceiling. He is what he is and it doesn't help that he shot 29% from the free throw line either. Take all this into account and it makes offense more difficult for the other 4 guys on the court. Having even a threat to score in the post would be a ginormous upgrade next year.

Alright, back to transfers!

Here’s a new one...good size, good shooter/scorer
Watched Akron quite a bit just by happenstance this year. Wish I would have paid more attention to him but I heard his name called a lot and didn't see him blow any plays or anything so I wouldn't mind a look

Jones/ Conditt were played out of necessity.
And even then, our best lineups were with Jazz as the post.

Agree, TJ won't be rigid.
Not necessarily. There were many games where Conditt/Jones > Kunc. In our win over KState, Conditt/Jones were a +21 and Kunc was a -19. Kunc is better when he is at the 4 because of his ability to hit the 3.

I read an article about Bates transferring. They mentioned he was 4th in career blocks after just 2 seasons at NC State.
I did my MS degree at NCSU. I've seen Manny Bates live a couple of times. I don't care what his stats say, that dude is starting at the 5 at almost every P6 program in the country. Huge loss for my Wolfpack, but the cyclones picking him up would definitely help lessen the pain.

Yeah they were just a trainwreck as a program this year. I get them on local radio and the announcers seemed defeated.
