It's been in a long dry spell, ever since Debbie. Guess it's been rejuvenated.
All you single stage betas ready to embarrass yourselves tomorrow?
I have one of each. If it’s light and fluffy like they say, I’ll use my single stage every time. It’s so much easier to maneuver than my two stage.
Two stage is reserved for wet, heavy snow.
I had to recheck to see which thread this was since it followed a post about coach’s mom.
Super light and fluffy with the temps. If you're lucky it will all just blow away from your driveway. Not worth buying a blower for if you don't have one.
I guess it’s about time to put the blade on the 4 wheeler. Was beginning to wonder if that was something I might not need to do this year. Stark difference from last year when everyone, including me, kept breaking equipment due to the amounts of snow we got in January last year.
I bought a different one this year that came with a blade. Don’t really need it but maybe I will try it out later.

I have a 300+ foot driveway, so shoveling isn’t an option for me (though I’ve done it before. SUCKS!), and I blew a winch link last year after about 20 feet of driveway. Still have nightmares
That was different snow than what we will probably see tomorrow though.
Just moved the snow blower out from the back of the garage, gassed it up, and got it humming. Also found the ramps for the back of my pickup so I can haul the snow blower to my son's house and mother in law's house. Guess I'm ready as I'll ever be.

Was just told Vinton-Shellsburg is closed tomorrow...that is certainly giving people enough time to prep!
