I will say it. When was the last game Iowa State had a player called for targeting with an ejection before tonight under Campbell?
It's very hostile in the Alamo Dome. Cyclone warning for the guys in the black and white stripes.
That guy led with the crown on montie
Cuz, ESPNWhy the hell are they not talking about the game that’s actually happening right now?
Stone Cold calls ********.
It’s like Baker Mayfield all over again. They won’t stop about how much they love him. Can’t take it anymore.I may get a new TV out of this game, wifey is about to throw something heavy or rip it off the wall if the announcers slob Minshews knob again.
I'm sorry I keep coming back to this. I am livid. Read the rule. Targeting REQUIRES at least one of the four bulleted indicators. Ewa's play satisfies ZERO indicators. No player shall target and make forcible contact to the head or neck area of a defenseless opponent (See Note 2 below) with the helmet, forearm, hand, fist, elbow or shoulder. This foul requires that there be at least one indicator of targeting (See Note 1 below). When in question, it is a foul (Rules 2-27-14 and 9-6). (A.R. 9-1-4-I-VI)
Note 1: "Targeting" means that a player takes aim at an opponent for purposes of attacking with forcible contact that goes beyond making a legal tackle or a legal block or playing the ball. Some indicators of targeting include but are not limited to:
- Launch—a player leaving his feet to attack an opponent by an upward and forward thrust of the body to make forcible contact in the head or neck area
- A crouch followed by an upward and forward thrust to attack with forcible contact at the head or neck area, even though one or both feet are still on the ground
- Leading with helmet, shoulder, forearm, fist, hand or elbow to attack with forcible contact at the head or neck area
- Lowering the head before attacking by initiating forcible contact with the crown of the helmet
All correct targeting calls. Refs missed the targeting call on peavy.
You go tell that to Stone Cold, you stupid arachnid. All correct targeting calls. Refs missed the targeting call on peavy.

I’m fine with the targeting calls. Suck but they are correct.
Not happy they missed the false start. Probably would have kept it to a one score game.
All correct targeting calls. Refs missed the targeting call on peavy.
Targeting for sure, you are disqualifiedCan I still post here or will I get called for targeting?
Going to make the switch and listen to John Walters second hayto lower my blood pressure.
Apparently the "crown of the helmet" extends down to the Iowa State defender's eyebrows.I'm sorry I keep coming back to this. I am livid. Read the rule. Targeting REQUIRES at least one of the four bulleted indicators. Ewa's play satisfies ZERO indicators.
1. No launch.
2. No crouch followed by upward thrust
3. No leading with anything to the head or neck area. First contact was hands to chest.
4. No lowering the head or attacking by initiating forcible contact with the crown of the helmet. It was inadvertent contact.
