We declined the illegal formation penalty because even with the block in the back penalty enforced we had great field position.

Yeah, makes sense. I wasn't factoring all that return yardage. The cost / value ratio of that block was pretty poor.

The coaches want to play the freshman QBs but they have to have a big lead for that and this offensive play calling will never let that happen.
