Any win is fine and it was comfortable.

Going to have to put together quite a game next Saturday.

Good win. Brase and NWB know how to play.

Looking at next year, it’s too bad we lose Jackson. He’s such a weapon on offense.

Young and Lard have a lot of potential in the paint. I hope we give them the time and looks to develop.

Wigginton is already good as a scoring guard right now, but has a ways to go before he’s a pg or even a combo.

I can’t wait until Lewis is experienced. He’s going to play a lot.

I hope Brase can stay healthy because his size and well rounded game are just enough to have a real inside rotation for the first time in a long time. He can keep us in games with key minutes while Lard and Young continue to improve. Especially when we have the ball with a lead he is like a bit of a safety blanket as a good shooter who makes smart decisions and smart passes.

So this is what it looks like when NWB plays poorly.

Man, we are going to struggle on defense against Big 12 teams.

I guess them a little pass -- they looked tired/worn out.

I would be too after 3 games in 7 days, including a huge rivalry win.

We are 37 RPI and likely only one game left against a low RPI team. If we can get the record anywhere near 20 wins the RPI is going to be a huge help.

Jackson is such an odd player. It seems like he plays terrible for a couple of stretches every game, but he ends up with 25 points. I guess expecting him to shoot 75% from 3 isn't fair. He's just so streaky.

I agree, I find myself thinking Jackson is killing us and then he strings together several threes in a row. He can really shoot the 3.

For those "Lard should start" types --

Seems Prohm really likes the combination of Brase and Lard out there. One is heady and a great high-low passer, and the other is all energy, put backs, and swat.

They complement each other extremely well.

Prohm liking them together might, ironically, keep Beverly and Young starting.

I think we’ll steal a game or two we aren’t supposed to when Jackson goes off from 3 along with another player. That along with Hilton is why I laughed off the 10th place media predictions.

Random question but a "low-scoring" game is one with few points or runs, right. So wouldn't a "low" RPI be like 1-50, etc? I'm trying to figure out if "low" means triple-digits or really good teams.

You can probably make an argument for both ways, but think about a “highly rated team” or “highly rated player”.

A top 10 team would be considered highly ranked.

A top 30 recruit would be a highly ranked recruit, not the kid who is ranked #250 or whatever.

FWIW those 2 have the highest rebound percentages on our team by a mile. (Judging by your love of advanced stats you already knew that). Also, thanks for posting the per 40 stats. Woah, Lard.
