In all the years I can remember going after very few KC kids even when they had some good ones. It's just seemed odd. We always go after Minneapolis and yes I know they seem to produce more D1 talent. Just odd that we don't even give it a shot down there. There have been a ton of kids that have gone to D1
Mamukelashvili>Epperson.. this kid has fewer offers, lower level offers, and looks like he could contribute right away. No idea about his recruitment other than what you can find at 247 though. Maloukelashvili, I mean Mamukelashvili is Hungarian.
Not to stir the pot or anything, of course.
The only ones I can think of offhand are Clayton Custer (well, JoCo, not KC) and the Releford brothers.
I think you're probably right, although my definition of good player probably differs quite a bit from others on here. We've gotten great players from bad teams before (Uncle Jake and Nader).
Bol would get a lot more interest now since he's proven to be effective at another level.
The problem is I'm not sure he'd be much more advanced than Solomon this year, and may even be battling Solomon for minutes. Juco bigs aren't really much different than HS bigs -- you either get a stud or you get a guy that you have to develop. And at ISU's level of basketball, we shouldn't be in the business of developing Jucos.
My understanding is that we didn't get Jok because we backed off to stay out of trouble.
That's what he's referring to. Lefty texted Jok in a dead period. We reported it and backed off so it was a no-brainer for the NCAA.

Not sure how an under the rim 6'11+ top 100 guy could choose any school but Iowa after watching how Fran developed Adam.
That lists Collin Sexton as a SG. Was I mistaken for remembering him as a PG while Prohm was recruiting him?
Definitely is a PG, or at least plans on playing PG in college. He may be playing combo guard now, I don't know for sure. Also, it is ESPN, so it could just be a **** up.
