New JUCO name

A wing-guard at 6'6" 185. He has taken a lot of 3Ps, shooting around 38%. I'm not sure how athletic he is, but with the kind of coaches after him and being from Philly I wonder if he's tough.

Imo it reinforces that we have a lot of room and needs.

With a little more confidence in his game and his shot, NWB could be very good. "Could" being the operative word.

I've mentioned it before but his demeanor on the offensive end especially reminds me of a freshman or sophomore year Matt Thomas. He'll get a good look, hesitate for a second and then he's a little disjointed when he actually goes for the shot. Or he just passes out of it. He's athletic and skilled enough to be a quality starter for ISU the next 2 years, just needs to get that feel and confidence.

Babb has huge upside. Next year will be a totally different team. He will work hard in the off season, and will become another Cyclone great. He has all the mechanics. Just needs to develop and refine his game. You'll see.

Babb has been deferring to the better scorers all year, but he is solid in every other aspect of his game (ball handling/steals/rebounds/defense). He has been key in several runs this year, and we often look better overall with him on the floor, even when he's not scoring. Add a little scoring confidence, and he will be hard to keep out of the starting lineup.

Babb doesn't look like he has any confidence in his shot. I hope work in this offseason helps him improve.

Pretty good growth spurt between soph and junior seasons it appears as he was listed at 6'5.
I was gonna say haha, he is listed as 6'5 but dwrafs Monte. Crete Monee is a pretty solid bball school, D-Rose's nephew went goes there as a senior now. I am happy we are throwing our hat in the ring on some of these Illinois prep guys.

I thought I saw on the Kansas board there is some doubt as to whether Preston will qualify. If that is the case, perhaps Juiston is a backup plan for them
