Haven't heard much on the recruitment of AJ Green. Saw he had an unofficial in early June and read an articles that called him the best shooter in the 2018 class. Anyone know where we stand with AJ, other than his Dad is UNI assistant?

Pitino has won the last major battle between ISU & Minny, but it sounds like Prohm has developed a good relationship with Thompson.

Kinda funny that the player tearing up the PTL the most this summer has the most interest in ISU and UNI, but also interest in many other P5 programs, but Iowa not on his list at all.

Is Franny not even recruiting the #1 player in the state, or is Green just smart enough to know that nobody wants to play for Franny?

So stupid coaching decisions by Fran then, huh? They have no schollies to give for next year, or did they hand them all out already? Either way, Green is a must instate player that you need to have room for.

Weiscamp is the number one player in Iowa and he is legit. Green would be a great catch for anyone

He keeps dropping, wasn't he top 30 previously? He was definitely in the 30's at one point, down to 54th now. Too bad for Fran his guys can't hold on to their 8th grade rankings.

I know we like to hate on the Hawks and all but Weiskamp is a stud regardless of whether he's dropped 20 spots over 2 years.

For those of you who haven't seen him, you will love Talen Horton-Tucker. I find it really hard to believe that Weiskamp is a top 50 recruit and this kid is barely in the top 250. Call me crazy but if given the choice I would take Tucker over Weiskamp. The offers seem to reflect that as well. Great passer and great finisher with either hand. Sign me up.

Thanks for posting, I hadn't seen very good clips of him and wasn't impressed previously. After watching this I was completely wrong and get why the staff is prioritizing him with his all around game. Has a wide frame and body and looks like Nader. I see he did shoot up on rivals last update to #102 I believe.

That young man looks like someone who would excel in a wide open system like ours.
