Of the new guys offered, I really like Zion Griffin and Akinjo.
LeDee is an intriguing prospect because he was once sought by the blue bloods and ISU seems to be payin him a lot of attention lately.

Akinjo reminds me a lot of AJ Green. He's got a sweet shot. Not sure we will have much of a chance based off geography and assuming we land Harris.

Any reason he isn't as sought after any more? I don't know much about the kid

Don't know. It appears as a freshman maybe he was really far ahead of a lot of guys but he must not have progressed as much as others. Still a top 100 guy though.

Yeah, I mean he still made the USA team, just curious that he did have such an impressive offer sheet but they have backed off a bit.

Well he made the team after his freshman year in 2015. Tried out after his second year but didn't make the team and then wasn't invited this year.

Rivals update with George Conditt. He's gaining major school attention. Illinois and UTEP are two schools prioritizing him that we should watch.

"Of course the basketball situation is going to be important," said Conditt. "Beyond basketball though, I am just looking for a place where everybody is connected and it is a true family atmosphere."

George Conditt Sr connects well with George Conditt Jr, and in a family way no less.

Bossi singled out Zion as his off the radar performer after the last eval period.

https://basketballrecruiting.rivals.com/news/rivals-roundtable-second-live-period-thoughts

"Eric Bossi: The answer to this one is pretty easy for me, Zion Griffin. He was about as far off the radar as a guy could be for me and once I found him playing for the Hoopers Basketball Club in the Hardwood Classic, there weren't many other players that I wanted to watch. He's physical, he can shoot and while he's a bit left hand dominant he can get to the rim off the dribble thanks to his strength, athleticism and motor. Iowa State has now offered and so has most of the Misouri Valley while other programs like Illinois, Minnesota, Northwestern, Pittsburgh and Virginia Tech evaluated him over the weekend."
