That is why the staff wasn't looking to over sign in the Fall rather than wait for the season to play out and see where they sit.
I am sure Lindell and the staff are preparing as if he will be going to the league (as evidence bye the JuCo guard interest) but nothing is set in stone. Lindell will need to show hes a very likely first rounder to go, very possible (even probable IMO) but not a sure thing.

He and his family seem very set on moving to the NBA. I know that he wants to be a First Rounder and do it the right way, but he was alot closer to leaving than I thought he would be last year, and that has changed my mind on how he views his situation.
First of all, I want to say that I think Lindell is awesome and I think he will end up in the first round. However, if he doesn't do a better job of protecting the basketball, he could end up dropping a bit on the draft boards.
completely agree. That is why it was a "must" for him to come back this year, needs to prove he can be better at protecting the basketball. Also, I think he is a far better finisher in the lane than he showed last year, if he makes those contested layups more consistently that will certainly help him in draft rankings.
Ball protection (i.e. proving he can be a point guard) was what NBA teams wanted him to show them, that is the main criticism he recieved from what I have gathered, so I hope that it is at the forefront of Lindell's mind going into this season. The points will come.

Could Pitino Sr. recruit? Dude used strippers, booze, sex parties and loads of cash. My guess is that his tactics weren't only recent, but rather, he only recently got caught.
This is actually an example of "we didn't want him anyways". He wasn't a take at Ole Miss last I heard
