People need to get over getting Custer and Tsalporous minutes, it's not happening this year those guys are too far off, we have 8 guys ready; Niang, BDJ, Naz, Hogue, Morris, MkKay, Thomas, Nader, and situationally #9 Edozie, Hoiberg will not go any deeper.

I know Edozie's minutes will decrease, but I hope he doesn't get totally forgotten about because he has greatly improved from last year.

Hope all the ISU fans can stay to cheer on UNI!! It's fun to support in-state rivals. :)

Fran needs this one to get his team set for another deep run in tourney. Oh wait...

I was reading the preview article for the UNI-Iowa game on the Register's site and found this quote pretty funny from one of the UNI players:

"It's a big game," UNI's Deon Mitchell said, "where everyone wants to see who is the best school in the state."

Well, Deon, all you have to do is watch the first game to figure that out...

I imagine this is what Drake's starting five is going to look like:

About as adorable and nonthreatening, as well.

Silly Purplehawks thinking they're much competition for Hoiball.

Against a team like Drake we should expect to get Custer and Tsalbo in. I bet he plays more than 8 or 9 tonight.

I thought the starting five would be McKay, McCoy, McKat, McKitty, and McCoiberg.

Edozie will get good minutes all year. Will always be teams with more bigs, we will always gets lots of fouls in the paint.

Most are excited for McKay's debut. But I'm also making my fan debut getting back for an ISU basketball game in the Hoiball era. I may give a press conference afterward.

I hope they blow Drake out early and don't take their foot off the gas pedal. Not so much because I want the Bulldogs to get humiliated; Giacoletti (sp?) seems like a good guy and given enough time he might build a decent program there. I just want to see the Cyclones put together a full forty minutes and not coast or cruise to the end against an inferior opponent.

Correction: I took you to the Nebraska vs HOIBALL game a couple years back. :)

The second game...talk about a great opportunity for recruiting future Kirkwood and Hawkeye Community College students.
